You see.. I needed this video for a highland sword. Flame yes, good tip thanks, I’ll do that. The rubbing I don’t think I can do 😅

Neat trick. The volume on this one is very faint.
@BenDunlop

Its caused by the distance to that clipped on Lavalier microphone. That aside, this Eva tip saved my project - so I'm happy to work through the faint audio

Holy crap this is amazing. Is there anyway to do this in a hand held fashion for parts that you wouldn’t beable to get to the pan?

I know this is an old video but what about on props when there’s usually contact cement all over them and it’s very dangerous to use a flame around that stuff

Why is he not using a respirator filter mask when he used the Dremel?
@CosplayApprentice

I definitely should have if I wasn’t. Sometimes it’s hard with filming the videos and I need to stop to talk in the middle of something to remember to throw my mask on when I should :) thank you for the good safety reminder:)

great tip! but how would you approach a more organic shape or inside curves?
@smelly-y

I'm trying to figure this out too. Maybe inward curves could be smoothed with a small round object that fits into the curve?
