@@AvyBuecel2013 was only tanked by juries, to be fair (Samo Shampioni and Igranka not qualifying because of juries are still injustices I’m upset about)
And that’s the reason I became a eurofan. I was just 7 years old, and by the time I heard this song on Greek news some weeks before eurovision I was shocked. I had even recorded it with my phone so that I could listen to it all the time. The summer of 2007 I convinced my parents to travel to Bulgaria just because of Elitsa, but I didn’t find her (obviously lol).
my story is similiar with yours. this song made greeks go CRAZY. i remember everyone loved it and i was no exception. i was very young during the time the eurovision 2007 contest happened and i remember i was ADDICTED TO THIS SONG FOR YEARS. my whole family loved it and i still love it so much. its probably my favorite eurovision song of all time probably because of the nostalgia and memories i have from it but also cause its SO AMAZING
Now this is what I call Eurovision; traditional, modern, different, atmospheric, dark and beyond something else. Back in the 2000s there were so many really good native language entries compared to this decade, Elitsa & Stoyan stood out in 2007 and their awesome drumming definitely racked up a lot of points for them. Bulgaria should be very proud of this song and how it remains a favorite for many ESC fans, too bad they couldn't qualify again in the next 6 years.
If only people outside of the Balkans had a slightest idea how deeply this song is rooted to the local culture it would have easily won the Eurovision by a long shot. Instead I was hearing comments that Elitsa has a "weird voice". If you are one of those people go and listen to the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir (aka Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares) for example. It is what it is and it's meant to be exactly that. And that's why it's so unique. It should've won that year, it really should have. Still a great song to listen to after 14 years.
@@user-ix5dc1zb5p It was an "ok" song with nothing spectacular or original in it which is exactly what appeals to the masses. 2007 was the last time I watched Eurovision (never missed one since the early 90's) and that particular song (Elitsa & Stoyan's) made me realize people have barely any interest in original and unique music. The Eurovision is supposed to embrace and promote local culture and uniqueness of every participating country, instead it has become a promotional ground for "the next big radio hit". One of the most popular songs of one of the past Eurovision winners has a title "Money, money, money".. the irony in this is over the scale.
This song is special!! I remember watching this performance for the first time as a very young kid. Me and my entire family were actually mesmerised 🇲🇰
Even if Bulgaria don't win that year, they are slaying like the winners of the night ..... One of the best songs of all the time in the contest ...!!! Much love from Greece❤❤❤
my Winner, should've won. Thats an epic moment for ESC, its the first and only time till now that had an entry from Organic Trance music! Great Greece gave 12 points here. Cheers!
My winner too, but to be honest Greece giving Bulgaria twelve points isn't that special, and also bear in mind that this was the first time Bulgaria was in a Eurovision final and thus this was first time Greece could give Bulgaria votes :D
Море малка моме ! Море Митра пее на реката, Митре ле Море на реката до гората '' Море оздол' иде лудо младо '' Море лудо младо конче води Митре ле Море лудо младо конче јас и '' Море конче јас и мома љуби Митре , ле. Daradudaj du dara daraduda ..... еј!
These were my favorite of 2007! I simply loved how they performed! The percursion, the rythm, the mystifying music and the amazing voice! I loved everything about it!!
Amazing entry of Bulgaria fortunately they are back and i think that they will be improving in their entries... Starting with the amazing Poli Genova :)
!!!!!!!!! Greetings from Bulgaria. Bulgaria lov es JA SYM PITBULL TERRIER !!!!!!!!!! i've put it along with HARLEM SHAKE AND MOTOR REMIXES In the best motivational mix ever!
My all time Eurovision favorite, I always get chills down my spine when hearing it. I so wish more entries would have this bold mix of traditional local and modern music. I recall there were more of that kind in the early 2000s, but this one is exceptional!
Thank you for this amazing song and representing Bulgaria in the best way possible! I wish we sent more entries like this and that you were able to go back!
Simply the best! Bulgaria rocked with this song! I don't know and I don't care who was first that year, Bulgaria made the difference and was the winner to me... More, more!
