Eliud Kipchoge finishs with a new world record that will be remembered forever. The greatest marathon runner of all times. #berlinmarathon #berlinlegend #worldrecord
yeah just like the future generations will know anyone who ran a far distances. not even our generations knows any of the runners, now or previously 😂 dying sport
@@Robyn18737 its such a shame as running that distance at that pace is such a difficult thing to do! Kids these days just want ride around on electric scooters lol
Eliud Kipchoge, greatness in human form. Even in the post-race interview he didn't make it about himself. His goal is always to bring people together to achieve their goals..we need more Eliud on this planet.
It was a pleasure to be on the same track with this legend today! I had a bad day, half was 1:30 h and ok, at 27 km i wanted to take the subway. Cramps, high pulse rate, cold.. It was so sad couldnt hold the pace.. Finished in 3:22 h and the most important thing was not to quit.. Congrats to all finishers and to the greatest of all time! No human is limited!
Kipchoge celebrated before he crossed the finish line. Then proceeded to hug his team. I ran my PB Mile and I felt like I was going to die. I’m convinced this guy can complete a marathon under 2 hours. He always seems to have something left in the tank. Truly impressive.
that's cuz imo pro marathon runners have developed body types not suited for short sprints, and always run at a relatively constant speed. He could probably keep going for a few km, but most likely wouldn't be able to raise his pace significantly.
@@cuchu62 not officially. He did it with pacers, a pace car and on a closed loop, in perfect conditions, with no other runners. Regardless of conditions, he completed a 26.2 mile run in under 2 hours which is incredible. I hope he does it in an official event.
He already did tho not official since it had pacers. I think if he had competition he would have completed under 2 hrs. But he's so good that he completed the race more than 4 minutes earlier than the runner up.
It almost feels wrong to call him an endurance athlete. He's elevated it to an artform. What Michaelangelo was to marble, Turner was to paint, and Zappa was to the guitar Kipchoge is to running.
Even though i watched him live, i still find tears running down my cheeks when I watch him breaking his own world record. Truly inspiring. 'No man is limited' as he always say. A story of a legend.
Unbelievable. Even after the race he looks like he just jogged a mile around the neighbourhood. Does not collapse on the ground, look wobbly, but looks like a bugs bunny still bouncing around giving hugs. What an Athelete
I ran a half marathon in 1hr58 or something. It took everything from me to get that time. It blows my mind that this man is essentially running twice as fast. Like literally twice as fast for twice as long.
It's not normal for a 37 year old athlete to be doing this 😅 I cant even put it into words. I took up distance running this year at age 29 thinking I'm getting too old for this but kipchoge has proven me wrong. What an inspiration he is
I lived to watch Jordan win all 6 championships, I lived through the Bolt era, I lived through Serena Williams era,and I lived through the Kipchoge era. I feel fortunate!
Serena Williams…? LOL. She’s a big baby, a professional victim, and can’t even beat a 200 ranked male pro. Your Mt.Rushmore is looking a bit weak bro.. 😅
After finishing the Heartland Half Marathon earlier today in Omaha, NE, I knew the Berlin Marathon was today as well. I just saw this on my suggested videos and I am glowing with happiness. I may not have had a WR like Eliud Kipchoge, but I had a PR in my Half Marathon earlier today on the same exact day as the Berlin Marathon. WELL DONE ELIUD KIPCHOGE!!! In Conclusion: My race. The Heartland Marathon (Half Marathon Event) in Omaha, NE. Time to beat was 2:27:49. Clocked in at 2:16:12!!!! A BRAND NEW PR!!! This is the Biggest PR, I have had in any race in my lifetime.
This guy just ran the marathon in a world record and does not even seem tired, instead he immediately runs over to hug his coach and family. He just makes it look so easy, absolute legend
Unbelievable this guy after crossing the line and broke his own record to set up a new record, he still have so much energy to go another round again. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉you are the best.
The discipline he does not punched crazy at the end , but sustainer his fast pace no reason to hurt yourself once the sun two hours is out. He runs in such a beautiful way.
The greatest athletes teach us the incredible things that all humans are capable of. At a time of such discontent and unrest it is a gift to be reminded of the goodness that people can do. Thank you Eluid, you are an inspiration to everyone who watches you.
The GOAT does it again. As with the greatest sportspeople, he leaves a legacy of inspiration and wonder, we should all enjoy the performances he’s giving us
Wow 🥱🥱what an outcome again! He just proved us wrong from our judgement and for that he just established himself as a great of all time, big congratulations to you eliud for making us proud once again👏👏👏👏🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Congratulations to Kipchoge! He set a new personal best. It’s amazing to see him break his own record. Every time I watch his race, it inspires me to keep running hard. I also like his running posture. It's almost perfect. After writing this comment, I suddenly want to go running now.
KIPCHOGE is literately the world's greatest hero in any sport. Even in track--look at the 100, 400, 800, literally any race, no one smashes records, and no one SHATTERS records by multiples like Kipchoge. PEOPLE NEED TO START WRITING SONGS ABOUT THIS DUDE!! Kipchoge = G.O.A.T. for generations to come.
What a run and a wonderful way to end the weekend by our very own, hero the one only Eliud Kipchoge ! I know you will continue to do exploits for Kenya and we are ALL very proud of you Eliud. Keep going strong !
