Prof. Elizabeth Loftus is one of the nation's leading experts on memory. She has been an expert witness or consultant in hundreds of cases, including the McMartin preschool molestation case, the trial of Oliver North, the trial of the officers accused in the Rodney King beating, and litigation involving Michael Jackson, Martha Stewart, Scooter Libby and the Duke University Lacrosse players.

Its interesting to see how exasperated people get when forced to face their flawed existence.

I know, right? Hopefully she’ll get it someday. Not holding out much hope, but maybe she’ll be 5402’ed eventually and figure it out. Sadly, people like her don’t realize they have a problem because they are “successful,” in spite of the trail of crushed humans they leave in their wake.

@@racheltheehermit7314 She is a world-renowned memory researcher. What exactly is the "problem" she needs to figure out, and why are you trying to 5150 her (FTFY)?

@@kv6639 Let's talk about the fact that "False Memory Syndrome" has, to this day, never been recognized as a legitimate syndrome by the American Psychiatric Association, which is why it has not been added to their DSM diagnostic manual. Decades of their being highly paid "expert witnesses" in abuse trials, and they never managed to be legitimized by the mental health field? That simply does not make sense.

@kv6639 She said that memories of SRA are false but I was abused as a teen not a child.

There is a very important case of Lynn Crook she has a book called False Memories: The Deception That Silenced Millions By Lynn Crook. It is very important, not to stay with just one information, please investigate the case I mentioned above, it is very important since it demolishes several arguments that many people are believing and that cause harm

Maybe she thinks she was a memory doctor but really she isn't

She’s a walking example of OCPD. She could be used as an explanatory device in psychological classes: This is what OCPD looks like, students.

There were no malls when I was a child and it was me the child running all over May Co and my mother chasing after me very exasperated and panicked. So good luck with that, Lofthus.

She wore the same black top and belt and same necklace in her TED Talk. Except she had a red jacket on and different glasses.

Might just be her best set of clothes, a lot of us budget tightly, I have Gucci and Giorgio Armani clothes just for this type of thing, I would wear them for public presentation, TV interviews and such. Some people kind of poke at me for wearing the same thing all the time, though it's not all the time.... lol Still I don't care, this is a old practice, people back in the day couldn't get such nice clothes all the time like we are able to get now. I have read many books of how people used to just have one best set of clothes that they would wear for special occasions, though really this is the case for a lot of people regardless of how much money they make! :) Though a good set of clothes could cost you easily 2,000 USD... that is a lot of money just for some dang clothes. haha
