Loved hearing your thoughts on these perfumes and smelling along with your descriptions!! Haha I think we have opposite preferences at least for this house but that is why I love fragrance so much and how individual each experience can be!!

I just adore how you describe fragrance! The emotional and transportive experience of a fragrance is so important and personal, and it’s so fun hearing your take. SciFi absolutely shifts as you wear it but in the most beautiful 'otherworldly' way. Truly, it's kinda magical and mysterious. One minute, I'm smelling woody then sweet, then floral, then vanilla. It's so weird and amazing! AND i smell my arm all day to be sure I love it or hate it! LOL I bought the big daddy bottle because it's just TOO GOOD and I've never smelled it on anyone else so I'm all about being different and mysterious out here! :)

Love hearing your thoughts on perfumes! You are so descriptive and I tend to agree with your descriptions even if my preferences are slightly different I smelled along with you in this video and found myself nodding along to your descriptions! I also have the scent diary kit and the novellas set since that was on sale when I ordered and I adore the vibe of Ellis Brooklyn scents! West is a really interesting citrus because it's very distinctly blood orange rather than regular orange in my opinion! Haven't worn it on my skin but it feels nostalgic and even though I think it's supposed to be west coast inspired in reminds me of the feeling of drinking a blood orange sparkling beverge somewhere in a European town! Like the soda from san pellogrino or some sort of blood orange sparkling cocktail! I think the basil note might be part of why it reads as that! Idk if that's helpful but that's the best way I can describe it! You are probably my favorite to listen to about fragrances but I also watch Lauren Mae Beauty, Beauty Meow, and Paola Bianka for fragrances for different perspectives the most often!

Loved your review on this line. Personally, Bee and Myth are my absolute favorites. The other scents do not blend well with my body chemistry at all. I haven't tried Sun Fruit though. I feel like Myth can be worn year-round, Bee is a fall winter scent. Very strong real honey and rum smell...love it.

Lovely description, thank you☺ I recently purchased the fully booked set and from those in that pretty box I love West the most, Myth ended up at the second place. After watching this video I am tempted to purchase Fruit and Sci-fi. The rest of what I tried, Bee, Salt and Sweet are just too sweet for me.

Thank you for this video! Just got the sampler. The library one. Just like you, perfume gives me a headache,& Ellis Brooklyn perfumes, do not. I love them. I need the other sampler to see which full size I need. Your descriptions were so wonderful. I’ve been super interested in Après for fall/winter but,have yet to smell that one! I actually love Bee! So enjoyed this vid!

I really liked hearing your thoughts on these, as I'm someone who loves the idea of perfume but, more often than not, ends up with a throbbing headache! I have a sample of Bee...really wanted to like it but it was just a bit "much." I think I need to try Sun Fruit next. Stuff I'm currently wearing and enjoying: Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay, JM Tangy Rhubarb (which was limited edition unfortunately), and Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume.

I am loving these fragrance videos from you lately!!! Myth, Salt, and Fawn are my personal faves as well from EB and I was not a fan of Bee or Sci-fi. My top favorites are SALT and SWEET. I love layering salt with my BBW body spray. Instant vacation in Hawaii for me! Reminds me a little bit of Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc but a little more sharper. And I love WEST. WEST is invigorating and wakes you up. SWEET is ultimate marshmallow floral done right. Apres is great winter scent if you layer with others create magic! Not a fan of Myth. It disappears on me after 5 minutes of spraying but I love the body oil that last me a good while. I agree with you about Sci-Fi. It’s a odd ball to me. I used her travel spray to layer with others seems to work but to be worn alone bleh!

I love Sun Fruit and West! Rrose isn't bad either for a floral. I have yet to try Salt for some reason even though that's kind of their signature one.

I love Bee, and there's something familiar about it that I haven't been able to place. When you said it was a grandma fragrance, that's it! I can't place it exactly, but I wonder if there was something that my grandma wore that was similar. Youth Dew by Estee Lauder maybe. Myth, Sci Fi, and Rrose are favorites too. Have you tried their Iso Gamma Super? It's not in the sample kit, but I was able to snag a few samples. I smell nothing. Not a thing, from any of the samples. I need to get into a Sephora and try it. The bottles are stunning, simple, elegant, it almost makes me wish I liked Apres and Super Amber, they're so aesthetically pleasing.

Same, I tried Iso Gamma Super and I smell nothing. It's like water! That's normal for me though, that happens every time I try those kinds of perfumes. It's so wild!

What are you wearing for makeup on your face/cheeks? My goal. I totally get not being able to wear Tom Ford. I HAVE to try ones on - especially “holy grails” - Cloud smells worse than body odor, and Burberry Her Elixir smells like burnt plastic. YSL Libra smells headache inducing and bothers the back of my husband’s throat when he sniffs it. Never mind you answered my question!

Oh also I think you'd enjoy trying out some of imaginary authors scents! Specifically Falling into the Sea, Yesterday Haze, and The Soft Lawn though maybe some others! Saint Julep maybe but I know you said alcohol notes don't work for you
