Great review! I'm going to buy it specifically for my SPI ELRS whoops (downgrade it to 2.x) and for the SIM. That way I can get my TX16S and bigger quads to ELRS 3.x.

Thanks for doing it! I’ll move to 3.0 eventually but I haven’t yet, especially since SPI receivers aren’t supported.

HD zero question. I don't know if I changed some settings in my receiver but when I plug my HD0 into my TV now it says incompatible signal. It works fine in my goggles and used to work on my TV any suggestions as to what I screwed up

Two things I’d check: -Output mode can be either 720p or 1080p, you might change that and see -The aspect ratio has several options such as Orig, HCut, etc. I’d set it to Orig. Hopefully one of those is the issue, I can’t think of what else could cause that.

If you change the batteries out on the Zorro from 900MAH to 1200 MAH this issue is not a problem any more. I did that and get much more life on the Zorro. try that.

Very informative . i fly only small foam planes, no fpv. i have a jumper t12 and i am considering this radio. Do you recommend it? thanks!

This radio is functionally very similar to your t12, although your t12 probably has a 4-in-1 module so you’d want the 4-in-1 version of the T-lite V2 unless you’re also switching to ELRS. The main benefit you would get is the gamepad design and the lighter/smaller size. I prefer this style of radio, it’s easier to transport and nicer to hold, but the t12 is a great radio and the sticks would feel very similar to this one. I hope that helps.

The main advantages to ELRS are long range, low latency, and low price. Those things may not matter to you if you’re not flying FPV, so the 4-in-1 version of this radio might be the better choice for you. Is the ONLY difference the built in ELRS? Is the single antenna as good as the T antenna with the module? Will you test the range of both compared? That would be a good video. I also put the module on the back of mine same as yours. If there is no significant improvement then I don't see incentive to buy it. It is cheaper but what will I do with my other one???

Yes, just the built-in ELRS and higher power support on external modules. Good idea on testing the range, I should do that. Keep in mind you could use that T antenna on this radio if you wanted, but of course the module can do higher output power. Honestly if you already have a T-Lite with the module, it’s a hard sell to upgrade. This one is nicer because of less bulk, but it probably isn’t enough to offset the waste and upgrade cost. If it was me, I’d probably only upgrade to the V2 if you can find someone to give or sell your existing T-Lite to.

I just received the four and one version. I tried to contact my happy model Elrs module,however when I plug it in to my pc nothing happens just a red light on the module. It shows the module is connected on the control. Don’t no if I need drivers for my computer or something like that.

Unfortunately, the 4 in 1 version doesn’t support ELRS. It supports Frsky and many other protocols, but not ELRS. You’d need to either add an external ELRS module or get the ELRS version of the radio.

@@ATXAirborne thanks the problem is I have an external module but it doesn’t work. I have a happy model one made for version one the problem is I plug it in to my computer and the light on the external module goes red and will not connect to my pc
