I cannot update my Matek R24D firmware in ExpressLRS configurator "FC Found in COM 6 Connecting......" Then build error I also tried using expresslrs webflasher Cannot detect RX Target, blindly flashing I kept trying using Speedybee App Compilation failed Do you have any sugesstion? Lol my osd looks great its the rest of the image that looks horrible. Sharkbyte with HD3 Core goggles. My analog imaging is better than sharkbyte. The sd card recordings confirm the poor image quality. Using hd zero cameras.
great review! do you have any experience with these vs the x air mk 2 (the singular patch)? i’m looking at these for a more general, everyday use case, and wondering if the x2 air has better performance that’s worth the trading of the even smaller profile of the x air mk
Thank you very much for the excellent testing and review of these ELRS receivers. I ended up buying the BetaFPV ELRS Lite with the flat antenna, but I received version 1.1 which it seems has improved reception. I have stuck it in the back of a Darwin Baby Ape and it's a good combination, works like a charm, and thanks to your testing it seems I don't really have to worry about range.
Well after many trys i cannot make Shark Byte work. Did all the updates and nothing vtx blue light flash's on and then goes out. This isn't my first rodeo i have more than 10 quads. Using the Run Cam HD nano. I bought this system new and can't make it work. I shouldn't have to start replacing cables and camera and vtx on a new system. So bye bye Shark Byte not wasting any more time on this nonsense.
Thanks for this, you do an excellent job with tutorials! One question, how do you disable the AIO board’s VTx? You desoldered the cam, but wouldn’t the transmitter still consume power?
There’s usually a set of pads on the board that you can bridge (or sometimes, remove a solder bridge) to disable the on board vtx. I definitely recommend doing that to avoid the power draw and RF noise from the analog system. You can typically find that information on the pinout diagram of the AIO.
Awesome, thank you! Just looked at the pinout for the HM X12 AIO and it’s called Onboard VTX power bridge 👍🏽. Hmm, now wondering if that’s a regulated 5v tap that would be good for the HDZ Whoop Lite vtx. I’ll email HM support as that would be awesome. Thanks again.
My prop sucked my ep ceramic receiver in and didnt like it so it sspat out chunks of it, make sure your rx is fastened..nearly a year on drones already killed 2 baby apes v1 n v2 not for beginners..maybe v2is 3rd one 1st built foxwhoop ate my rx..still working on that 1! thanx for sharing i cant buy one after breaking 2 havent even used a pack yet..keep it up mate good content
Hey ATX 👋 What settings do you use for uploading HD Z footage to RU-vid ? Using the nano v2 cam & going thru Da Vinci resolve editor. My footage at the wknd looked grainy and much lower res when uploaded compared to the original file.
Thank you so much for this info. Hdzero does not offer wiring diagrams in their website and there are very few posted. As a non digital pilot, building with this chip was a complete nightmare, right down to the non standard FC connector and 25mm mount pattern. My analog setups look twice as good with no snow or static. Anyway I could not have wired this with confidence without your video, so thanks a million and subscribed -badpawxx

Hey man thanks for the video. I recently got this camera on a meteor 75 and I can't seem to switch it from 16:9 to 4:3 mode. When I do the stick command, it says repower vtx and after I do that, it is still in 16:9. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hello , the last couple of week two events occur to me . The first was i got to view BOX goggles and i was not impressed . The image itself was clear and crisp BUT the image appeared off at a distance , like watch a TV from across the room . The other was a grandson showed me his Quest 2 VR headset .... WOW !!! The image was very good and " In my face " very Immersive !!! I am half way interested in FPV but i would want goggles that showed an image like the Quest 2 has . If i were to take my index finger and thumb and put them together and hold them up to my orbital sockets , would ,let's say HDZERO ? goggles give me THAT image ???
