I could watch this over and over and never get tired of it. It's just Fantastic. Four other stupendous singing performances, and he's got a whole lot, but especially live, check out the American Trilogy, my way, and what now my love from the 1973 Aloha from Honolulu satellite broadcast show. You will absolutely love his singing on those. Also How Great Thou Art from 1972 and I actually think I like the one from 1977 slightly better, even though it's 7 weeks before he died, and he's all bloated up from the health complications and all the drugs they had him on and it's kind of painful to see but man, when he gets to doing that it's just thunderous. Also Unchained Melody from that final performance.

I have listened to Elvis since 1956 n yes im old but Elvis music keeps me young. I only got to one of his concerts 1973 Aloha concert that was broadcasted around the world and seen by 1.5 Billion people. I sat 3rd row center. I was a 21 year old crazy fan. I even jumped up on my seat n thru him a kiss n he winked at me. I never met Elvis but became friends with Charlie Hodge his confidant and best friend for years after Elvis died n he told me many great stories about his best friend. Afew songs I love( I love all) You Gave Me A Mountain Aloha concert, Love Me Tender( a fun song that he kissed over 40 women ( I'm not sure but alot) from stage n in audience Patch It Up Vagus concert 1970, Make The World Go Away Vagus 1970,How Great Thou Art gospel I think the best version was 1974 wearing a blue suit,Steamroller Blues Aloha concert ( he interacts with the audience) Polk Salad Annie Vagus 1970,Dont Cry Daddy with his daughter Lisa Marie who was 9years old when her daddy died, She always dreamed of singing with her daddy. In her 50's now they get to sing in her dream, In The Getto Vagus 1970, Mystery Train / Tiger Man Vagus 1970 American Trilogy Aloha concert 1973( he did a rehearsal show but this song was better in the main show that was broadcasted around the world he wore a white suit called American Eagle, had a yellow lei, a red n white lei n red scarf on. That suit had Real Gems sown on n weighed 70 pounds( that is true because Charlie told me as I said in beginning he was a friend of mine n the capes he wore were 20 pounds. I think this is the first time see one of your reactions. Sorry to hear about your GF, and transition issues. Thank you for sharing, what I think, is one of Elvis's most beautiful, and moving performances. His rendition had Paul Simon feeling wondering how he, "could follow that". Elvis put together the best back up singers and musicians available at the time.
