The press conference Elvis held at the 'Hilton Hawaiian Village' on November 20th, 1972 - this was done to give further details of the upcoming "Aloha From Hawaii" satellite show.
The parts with the actual footage of the occasion (0:53 and 10:08) have an "echo" because the two different sources (audio-only and film with sound) were dubbed over each other and the other was running slower/faster.

Thank you for posting on RU-vid. Though Elvis was excited, and nervous, about doing this concert beamed all over the world via satellite he was under extreme duress about his weight (and the producer/director told Elvis he had to lost at least 25 pounds which Elvis did) and that his marriage to Priscilla had deteriorated since (approximately) November of 1971. Worth noting is that in this interview he is asked a question about "Elvis having any thoughts out his marriage future" and you can hear, in his response, the pause - the sadness - and the first thing he verbalizes (to that question) is about Lisa Marie. Having been an Elvis Presley fan for six decades I remember watching this special live and it was an amazing treat and his voice sounded great. At the time I never guessed that Elvis would die (approximately) five years after this interview. As Elvis often did the proceeds of the concert went to the Kui Lee cancer foundation and the amount raised greatly exceed the monetary goals. Elvis, as he always had, rose up to any/all professional challenges as he did for the Aloha from Hawaii concert. It wasn't publicized the one million dollar guarantee for every show Elvis would do in Egypt with the backdrop of the pyramids. Elvis was also offered a million dollars per show in Japan and a few other countries. NOT million dollars per week or month but PER SHOW. Elvis had expressed his desire to travel around the world and perform and even updated his life insurance polices to include traveling to England, France, Germany, Japan, Egypt, and other places. I have a copy of the insurance policy binders, addendums, etc., over a period of (approximately) twenty years of his life to validate this fact. It was one of Colonel Parker's great failures to Elvis to have kept the fact that the SOLE reason Colonel Parker talked Elvis out of playing overseas was not the "security and sound problem issues" but that Colonel Parker was an illegal alien and believed that this may be uncovered and Colonel Parker would face, among other charges, legal deportation. Take care and may God bless you. Jeff Schrembs www.ElvisCollector.info

I believe that the Aloha Concert had originally been scheduled for November 1972 but there was some issue with a huge sports event at the same time so it was moved to Jan 14th 1973.

I can barely understand any of this. Obviously, this was a huge event, too bad the sound was not of higher quality; not to mention that it wasn't filmed. What was Parker thinking?

Right? A lot of historical events in Elvis career that he didn't documented properly. Such a shame.

The never. a Col., never a Tom, never a Parker, always thinking of himself.💰💲💲💲💲he kept everything hidden from ELVIS. He always had tight reins on ELVIS, for 22 years, his life was never his own. 6-20-22

Elvis was a drug addict at the end of his life but during his time getting easy for aloha he was drug free. It’s been documented. So you really don’t know what you are talking about
