For anyone who is bashing on the voice acting keep in mind they are making this in three different languages and English was probably not the original language so please be glad they are being so kind as to make it available for everyone.
I have to say, this is much much better as an introduction to the characters than the first episode was. It also shows that she is actually good at her job instead of what the first episode showed(which was so-so) I love the designs and artstyle, but it's clear that they learned how to write better as production went on. Excellent job.
A series has to start somewhere, and this started with presenting the character, and the co-worker that is also kind of infiltrating. This episode "fleshed out" them both as characters.
This just popped up on my suggestions on youtube, and I'm already so sucked in. This is seriously incredible, and the animation is phenomenal! Being an Animator myself, There were parts I had to go back and watch just because I wanted to admire all the frames put into such incredible perspective! The style is adorable and fun, but the subjects in this are also really deep and serious while being light hearted, it's amazing! such a good balance in writing! I'm definitely subscribing, and I can't wait for more!
Heck yeah, you're right melons! The style is awesome and they put so much work into every single frame so that it can turn out into an episode. I don't care if it's "only" 10min long. Animation is hard. Until now I only animated some 5sek long gifs and this gave me the experience to know how animation works. I respect the people who animate so much. A big heart from me for eating stars studio and for you
i am UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH THE STYLE the character design and animation, including the dynamic smears are just amazing!! tho i really gotta criticize the audio quality which should be more focused on!! animation THRIVES FROM sound, music and foley! and i gotta say, the writing seems incoherent, and a little bit fake-ish? it seems like you are really trying hard to become a trigger studio-esque production but besides that, this really has great potential!! pls keep creating and improving!
It's good that Moza and Sultan didn't have the same problem as Marinette and Adrien. Also, is Moza a cyborg? A transhuman? An android? Sultan said she looks more like her dad, and the intro and outro show some kind of scifi lab.
Arturo Reyes Cortez it could be that her father is a scientist and she had an accident and so the father used his medical or army project to support his daughter
Arturo Reyes Cortez yeah I thought the same this cartoon makes it more realistic when it come to secret identities because with marinette and adrien it’s so childish (like oh now with my tiny mask you don’t know who I am thing)I still like I though 🤷♀️
it's not childish. Emara has not any kind of mind control villain. LB and CN do. If someone of them knows the other one's identity, would be easier for HM to find them in real life, that's why Marinette doesn't want them to discover the other one's real name. It's not childish it's actually wise and I didn't realized even at first until Thomas told on twitter.
Mary Ann I mean tiny mask might not seem to be a good cover but I mean there is cosplay and you don't say someone is someone else tell your mind fully agree that they are what I mean thier personality and athletic not to mention maybe some magical aura around them
N a r i So they could just not say their civilian names while fighting supervilllains. Or their superhero names while in public. Simple as that. Besides Hawk Moth is Adrien's father, you saw how worried he was when Adrien almost fell off a skyscraper. He might not be as ruthless towards them if he finds out their identities.
While the animation and art syle was very nice, especially for a series on RU-vid, I wasn't too impressed with the writing and voice acting in the first episode (No villain should ever unironically say "Well, well, well..." in 2018). This episode did a lot better in those aspects however, though there's definitely still room for improvement.
I liked the "Well, well, well" and other cheesy lines the ep 1 villain used tbh. It gives it a campy Saturday morning cartoon vibe, haha. My only complaint for the villain of ep 1 was that his English VA sounded like he was using a lower quality mic compared to the rest of the cast and it made his voice sound slightly tinny if you know what I mean.
of course she can give constructive criticism after the animation process has already been done, lol. What do you think feedback is? How do you think the US's entertainment industry got to where it is today? It's why critics have jobs, bruv. Like I understand you're being protective of this show because of its potential, but feedback is really important _after_ publication. Crucial, even.
i cant believe how much in love with this i am!!! as central european, ive never really seen much characters from different cultures in cartoons, especially as main characters! i am adoring the style, animation and fight sequences and the characters are interesting
It must be super cool to see people from all over the world being fascinated in your countries creation! ^^ And no, i'm not romanian, i come from poland!
I would like it if they explained her super powers and/or explain how she became Emara. The voice acting has already gotten better from the first episode. I feel like it has great potential
Might be nice to have sing-along subtitles in the opening and ending for both Arabic and non-arabic speakers like older anime/some children's shows do. That would add to the atmosphere.
Ma siro emara Matha khalfa daka Al qenaa Man heya emara Sahibato al qalbi alshogaa Haya hobi lenagtati coli daeef Fadaleeloki howa Al dameer Haya labi Al nedaa fa qowatoki Qalbon taieb wa aqlon moneer Man yofni emara Al khawfo mena Al seaab Lan yordi emara Al dolmo ow el erhab Haya hobi lenagtati coli daeef Fadaleeloki howa Al dameer Haya labi Al nedaa fa qowatoki Qalbon taieb wa aqlon moneer EMARA!
This is suuuuuch a good show! The character designs are so cool and I'm so excited for the storyline to continue developing! I need more backstory!!!!!
Honestly? I liked that. Emara & her mom didn't make a big deal about it when he offered to help her wait tables, and it felt like it was only brought up because it made sense to the story. I mean, if *you* were in the situation where you thought you were going to be shot, wouldn't *you* break out every excuse in the book why the guy shouldn't do it? This show seems to really know how to write diverse characters and not revolve the story around it.
this is sooo cute, but i feel like the voice actors need better mics, as they sound distant and not coming out of their mouths, if you will? emara sounds fine, but sultan sounds muffled.
I love the animation! It jumps more than I'm used to, but it's still magic to my eyes, and it's always a breath of fresh air to see something different!
I already love this show. It's like if Astro Boy and Sailor Moon had a baby. The shows, not the characters...which no one should think about too much since that thought has a whole bunch of problems in concept alone.
AAAAH This is the best! So underrated with a great story, vibrant characters, brilliant and pleasing aesthetics, and finally, fluid animation which is something I focus on highly in these net cartoons. Hope you guys find success in the future and get every praise you deserve!
I think the biggest thing that I like in this series is the fact that they gave one of the characters a secret identity that you would never think is their secret identity. Dhabien's (probably misspelled that) speciality is his zooming abilities. Using his boots to move around with absolute agility. I would never have thought that he couldn't actually walk. It's just never been done in any show that I've watched. This is one of the things that can differentiate this from other superhero cartoons.
