Hey guys! This is a great quad it flys soooo smoothly! So far I'm loving the DJI goggles even though I'm paranoid that I'm going to get sun on the lenses and ruin them. They aren't cheap! 😆 Like & Substribe if you can, and we'll see you on the next vid. 😃🍺🍺

Nice job as usual. Right when I thought you were getting a little brave flying over the building you said it🤣 Are you going to try building your own drone. I think I’ll try the 533 tiny trainer, looks fun.

Hahaha thanks brother...yeah I was flying with my Tango 2 and crossfire so I had some good faith that it wouldn't failsafe and loose connection. Plus the DJI digital video can go really far. If I was flying my Flysky I probably wouldn't go over the building...lol. I did actually do a complete build from scratch...just a pile of parts. I used a Kbat 136 frame, Flywoo Goku 16x16 flight controller/esc stack and a Rush Tiny Tank VTX. Not a kit but just parts I bought. It turned out pretty well and fly's very smoothly. I will probably do a flight video of it later. I enjoy building as much as flying.

@@KaizerTest I agree about the building part being enjoyable. Getting ready to build a tiny trainer from 533 now😬 Did you boost your VTX range through betaflight?

@@Alohakoa59 Yeah I always boost my VTX power in Betaflight. It's funny though sometimes Betaflight shows max power but the VTX still is on 25mw. You can change it manually on the VTX usually as well or try in the on screen display. How is you your build going?

I do love them dji goggles! I hope they come down in price. I might get into the hobby if they do! Can you up the quality? Looked a bit washed out, not quite hd 🤘🏻

You know what? A good analog camera like a Caddx Ratel 2 and a good VTX and analog goggles are quite good. The DJI is better but I wasn't totally blown away. The original DJI FPV cam isnt available anymore and these newer cameras aren't as good. Still very enjoyable though. I actually had it in a mode that as you go further away it drops quality on the sides of the screen and keeps the center viewing area higher quality. But this was pretty much as good as it gets with the new cams. Fatshark has Sharkbyte digital that is quite good now and in a few years I think will be as good or better than DJI. And like I said a top of the line analog cam and a good vtx make a huge difference...they are very clear. Also analog is recorded on the goggles DVR and that DVR degrades the video a lot. So when you watch a video recorded on analog goggles what the pilot is seeing(pretty good) is not what the RU-vid video looks like(bad quality).

@@KaizerTest I've watched a few of nurks videos on the DJI cams and they're proper hd feedback to the goggles. Is that why coz the camera you have is different? Why have they changed if the old ones were better 🙄

@@ksrnate Yeah good question. The original DJI cam for FPV was the best. Mine is a Caddx Polar Vista Starlight. I did luck out on a quad recently from Banggood that came with the original DJI cam. I haven't tried it yet but will do that soon. To be honest if I could do it all again (from when I had no goggles at all) I would seriously think about Fatshark Shark Byte digital. It's getting better and better. I would have got some Fatshark Attitude or HD20 goggles and added a SharkByte module. That way you can fly analog or digital. And the Shark Byte digital cams are getting much better. Just a matter of a few years and it may be better than DJI.
