Ass Blaster Disaster Master nah I think just shield. There was too much knockback to be a parry. Hbox left the ground with the one legged hops before the knockback from hitting the chair’s shield was over, activating the invisible ceiling. Too bad he touched the ground right after, or he’d break physics
It really puts a smile on my face to see army eat shit. He really takes the fun out of the game for the other player. I hope wizzy would have spent a whole hour drinking water after that game.
He plays to win you cant really blame him for it You would probably do the same if you could win a price or if you like the competion enough just to win
I can't believe he the guy who lost to wizzrobe got upset, if you only rely on a broken ass gimmick to win and that gimmick doesent help you win getting upset is completely childish, thank god they banned wobbling
Yea took them forever to do it tho. "Ah yes this broken ass easy grab combo that can take you to 300+ percent is totally epic and fair. All skill based." What took them so long to ban wobbling it was unfair af from the start and they didn't see the problem with it😂
@@unwornseal159 I would never defend wobbling. But wobbling is just the start of broken mechanics. It would be even better to allow community mods that remove things like wobbling, short hop laser, spikes, and low-tier buffs. If banning one game mechanic is valid, banning others is valid as well.
Omg that first guy. Legit wobbles to 300%,taunts twice, and when he looses he turns his head reluctantly. Wtf is wrong in your head dude. 3-1 stock advantage too btw.
@@OMGlvl86turtlepilot He won a match but no one cheered and just left. Pretty demoralizing to win and have the crowd effectively tell you "we don't like you man".
This was at Big House. Plup had come off his first ever victory vs Armada and was poised to take this tournament as his first ever Supermajor. Arguably HBox's play through Loser's Bracket may have had much to do with his win; since Plup last played during Winner's Finals then had a long period to cool off during both Loser's Semi-Finals and Loser's Finals before facing off against a now hot Jigglypuff. Plup returns to the stage for Grand Finals but is visibly tired and his gameplay clearly suffers. Everyone was expecting some crazy melee, but instead got to watch a classic HBox - Puff vs Fox snoozefest. To no one's surprise but HBox, very few people cheered for him afterwards. HBox is just facing an internal conflict over the feelings of beating his friend, crushing the hopes of the crowd, being champion, and playing Puff.
@@StNeurion did he do anything wrong? Is his fault that puff is in the game? is it wrong for him to be a god at playing her? Or is it more that some people are just jealous... That they would rather believe in a story than celebrate the skill of a man who clearly earned it more...
@@grantdraus7449 What's with all the extraneous questions replied to this post? Who cares who cares who cares and who cares. HBox crushed the dreams of his competitor and the crowd at a Supermajor and didn't get cheered after. It's alright because Plup won Genesis 5 and HBox gets to give him a hug on stage.
@@ElectTheMusic Because he plays Jigglypuff and people think Jigglypuff is boring. That's where all the hate stems from. Oh well, at least you know you've made it when you have haters.
I'm not big into the Smash community but I've always found it interesting how popular Mango is compared to some of the other big players. Is everyone at the top an asshole, just to differing degrees?
@@justfetus No it's just that Mango really stands out among them : he's more fun to watch as a Melee player because of his aggressive playstyle (which is rare) and he's funny (to me at least).
Orssidia honestly I think melee is fundamentally a better game with its much higher skill cap, mechanics, and the crazy shit you can pull off, but I do enjoy playing ult more. Both pretty good games.
@@skiddzie2708 dude, go back and watch the video. It's a weak little push and the kid just stumbles backwards a little, doesn't even fall. What's the big deal? He's essentially just motioning him to "get off the stage!"
@@assuming9735 It wasn't a hard kick lol. It was metal and he kicked straight on the metal, was not at hard kick at all actually. I also don't know how familiar you are with the video game but these people have worked hard for years, some people have risked their future on this game, so it's normal to see someone in an intense situation and pop off like that. Football players do it too, pretty much every sport has people who do it. people hate on hbox waaaaay too much, I mean I don't like the guy but he definitely doesn't deserve this much hate
