The Order of the Phoenix is my fav. It has so much backstory and depth that the others don’t have. 20:14 the house elves are generally ignored in the films. I really don’t care much for the films. I look forward to hear all your thoughts on OotP. I read Little Women last year and I did not care for it. I can see why it’s a classic but it wasn’t for me.

A very happy birthday to Jay - 27 is a great age - enjoy it. My reading for X-mas has been circumscribed by a huge project I've undertaken though perhaps I can find time to decorate a little. It's been a while since I've put up a tree or even a menorah and I think perhaps this year I shall. Also I'm reading an interesting book: Does God Exist? Actually it's a reread though I don't think that spoils the ending much. I did come across a good part I'll share: Pascal is distinguished from Descartes in that the latter wants a mathematical proof of God's existence while the former understands that God cannot possibly be proved in 3 or even 4 dimensions.
