Emerge Vortex Gaming Chair - Initial Impressions 

This chair feels like I'm always leaning forward and slipping out the front of the chair. When the tilt knob is loosened completely the chair will still not allow me to lean back on it without great effort. If I tightened the tilt knob completely, I can sit leveled but forget about even thinking of leaning back, it won't budge. We bought this chair for my husband and he hates it.

I can 2nd on the leaning forward feeling that @mariabuffamonte4635 was saying. The chair feels like im always in a forward slant. And the cushion is not that great. My butt hurts after a while. Leaning back is a issue too, even with the knob as loose as it can be, there is still so much tension that it's a chore to push with your toes to keep you leaned back. I find the best way to fix this is to come up with a DIY clip or something to keep the chair in a tilt position, a few degrees would help a lot. Also maybe going to home depot and making a bar you can put your feet on to help lean back without using your toes to push so hard. I would pass on this chair and get a chair that has a tilt lock. It's usually a separate handle that locks the chair in the position you are tilting. Meaning once you find that desired tilt, you can lock it in place and it won't go forward or backwards. This chair has tilt lock but it prevents you from moving back when it's in the most upright position.

How's it holding up? Is the chair comfortable?

You all would be better off buying the dexley office chair from staples. I sat in the vortex and it sucked compared to the dexley
