Emily Bear performing her original arrangement of "Crazy" for a TV Special in Germany for Night of the Proms, featuring the Fine Fleur Choir and Antwerp Philharmonic, conducted by Alexandra Arrieche.
Hi Emily, what a beautiful piece of music. I purchased your album Diversity a year or two back, and still enjoy it almost daily, and will treat myself to another one of your albums. Keep em coming. Love your music so very much, thank you Emily, regards from Denmark.
Emily Bear what is left to say , she is just heavenly. I do not know if are heart could take it but could we imagine a concert collaboration with Emily Bear piano, Alma Deutscher on violin and Angelina Jordan's voice , these three musical genius anomalies could literally shake the world to its very core !!!
@Clyde Harris -- exactly the same brilliant young women I would include! And remember, Alma can sit next to Emily on the piano for an improvised duet (imagine that). The we can bring in Aurora to sing with Angela, then just call it a life.
That’s exactly what I thought! She’s genuinely enjoying herself, and it makes the whole performance so much better than it would be had she not been visibly enjoying herself! Gave me chills...music is transformative!!
This is a great but not classical performance. A flying piano is pretty OTT and has little to do with music itself. We don't now how much of this was the idea of some video producer and how much goes to Emily. I did love it but I also did wince at the schmaltz of it all. She is, after all, a seriously legitimate pianist so why does her piano suddenly get winched up into the air? The audience becomes spectators to a spectacle. What does Emily become? For sure not a seriously legitimate pianist. Very entertaining but discordant for someone with her talent.
