Eminem - Cinderella Man [Lyrics on Screen] Lyrics put together by bamfh03s Eminem - Cinderella Man Eminem - Cinderella Man Eminem - Cinderella Man Eminem - Cinderella Man Eminem - Cinderella Man
This is sooooo underrated. The most complete rap song ever written. Message, flow, beat, wordplay, direct rhymes, indirect rhymes, syllable rhymes, timing. Rap at its best
@@bobopatchnosuke229 Love Sing for the Moment, that's the stuff I grew up with but I think he outdid it with this one. Crazy underrated, agree with Sparkball up there.
No.. Shakespeare was a douchebag. His work and Eminems work are lightyears apart. Just because they both use lyricism for art does not make them similar. I threw up a little bit when I read that.
@@samanthaarmin3565 Great one. I workout to Em's craziest verses and beats. 1. Believe 2. Where I'm at (ft. Llyod Banks) 3. 25 to Life 4. Psychopath Killer (ft. Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf) 5. Till I collapse 6. Lose Yourself 7. Bestfriend (ft. Yelawolf) 8. 2.0 (ft. Slaughterhouse) 9. Fall 10. Fast Lane.
"You can die in the blink of an eye, so bat ya eyelashes and keep winkin' and blowing kisses cuz you're flirtin' with death" THAT LINE IS JUST SOOOO woah hahaha
"So swhat of that despair? I've overcome it many times." Ichigo to Yhwach. Good to see a fellow Bleach fan on this side of the webs as well preachin' the truth. Keep at the good fight, be proud at the good taste and have an awesome day and a couple thousand more!
This song reminds that it doesn't matter how messed and effed your life is you're still capable of turning it into a gold thanks Eminem for showing us the path and for giving us motivation wonder how many lives you've saved from such songs thank you
I been listening to this song since the album came out. Every time I come back to it, it never fails to blow my mind. Might be best bars ever written by Em...So underrated
I've been depressed the past few months and now I'm starting to get past it, this song gets me so fucking pumped. Finally got my confidence back. Its like a comeback, such as the song.
Ain't no expert, but you can't be depressed for few months. To be diagnosed with depression you have to be in constant "fucked up" mood for at least three years
I think this one of Eminems most addicting songs, by the beat, to the chorus, I get caught listening to this song sometimes throughout the week. I like it 💯💯💯💯
Tupac started the book of rap. Eminem finished it. Lil Wayne could never read it. Iggy lost it. Rick Ross ate it. Nicki Minaj sat on it. Drake thought he was the author. Kanye proposed to it and got rejected. Snoop Dogg traded it in for some weed. So did Wiz Kalifah. NWA started a book club about it. Dr. Dre made a whole bunch of copies, after seeing what was done to the rest.
martin portillo bitch rap is anything really as long as it flows people will fucking say it's rap even if they say two fucking words over and over again like fucking Gucci gang
Em made this song just after he got completely recovered from his drug addiction and all the depression. His message is that if he can get recovered from drugs then he can do infact anything. Although there was somewhat similar situation for James Braddock in the film Cinderella Man. Thats why hook and the name of the song is "Cinderella Man". And you know the best part he even says there's a Cinderella Man in everyone of us who can do anything, who can fight any shit in the chorus. Thats the simple message of this song.. Not some illuminati shit here...
Exactly! Everyone thought it had something to do with the movie. He has denied that time and time again. It’s about HIS adversities and not going to make the same mistakes
This song should me way more popular than it is.... Nearly every other line is one of my favorite lines, especially the "flip the world upside down and make it rain upward" part. Great song
+Sheridantank I know right? I've been asking myself why this song didn't immediately explode and go down in the fuckin history books since I first heard it. *Fuck catchin lightning he struck it,* *screamed 'Shut up' at thunder,* *then flipped the world upside down,* *and made it rain upwards* SERIOUSLY WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK I CAN'T EVEN
This song isn't anything about the Illuminati or god, its based off of the boxer James Braddock who was a famous boxer and lost everything in the great depression, Eminems relating that story to how he got over his drug addiction.
9 years later and as this beat drops, im still pumped. 😍🤩 Also: if this song was released when the movie cinderella man came out, this song would of destroyed the billboard
Cinderella Man is a movie about a boxer in the 20s and 30s. He lost everything and later regained it. Comparing that to Eminem, if he "lost his soul" then God give him a second chance to redo it. Look, when he says he could burn Satan, it shows he is on Gods side again. That's it really
Usually takes me around 3 times of listening to an Eminem song to be able to rap along to it. Took me once of actually listening to it for me to rap this one :) I feel badass now haha
same. i listened to this 1 time in my truck on a drive with my family, and i instantly knew how to sing it after it finished, so i asked them to play it again, and they did. lets just say that they listened to me rap it the entire time and they ende dup laughing and saying that i should be in a band when i grow up (this was like 5 years ago, when i was ten) and look at where i am now, im in a band, and im singer. so HA
***** Actually The Paw is right. This song was made after his near death experience from overdosing. Listen to the words. "Technically, I'm not even supposed to be here right now". "Shit I ain't even supposed to be here, by the grace of god, the skin on my teeth, the hair on my nuts I skated by."
This song is sooo good especially beucuse it is based of the real life boxer James Braddock who after a few straight losses got the chance to fight for the heavyweight title against Max Bear who was fucking terrifying yet against all odds maneged to pull an upset and become the ne champion. His story is so inspiring since it took place during the great depression where he got beat down so many times yet still stepped up for the occasion and pifting himself from poverty.
Great Song and Great Movie (true story). Basically EM and Braddock had a similar life. Both had to overcome some real hard times, came up short the first time, but that only made them hungrier to succeed, and when they got their second shot they EXPLODED.
Instead of "Cinderella Man", he shoulda just called it "I Win". Em's usually content with one or two wham lines per track, but this one is almost _entirely_ composed of *Fuck you, I'm the best, and here's why* lines. When combined with his crazy layered wordplay, I will forever be stumped as to how this track didn't blow up like a damn SUPERNOVA.
+Ryuu Michaelis So am I to take it there's some RU-vid glitch, and Mr. Gordon isn't a rookie troll, but yet another person who's mad about mistakes in lyric videos? *is sad*
garrett nichols he just pointing out wrong lyrics... there is no anger coming from his comment.. why you trying to put him on blast? how dark in the head are you my friend?
My best friends funeral played this song while we all watched a highlight reel of his life. Forever, this song is gonna have a special place in my life. R.I.P. Luke 'Scooby'
YugiohDaily Em calling it shit doesn't make it shit, though. It is superior to Recovery in terms of technical lyricism and flow. But it wasn't something his fans could relate to, and he felt he over-did the accents. Recovery is something more simple and relate-able for his fans. It's still dope too. I like Recovery.
Man Whore Relapse and recovery are both amazing. Honestly, I believe Encore is the only album that can truly be called a piece of shit with the exception of a few tracks.
