I believe that Emory was talking to Dehaven when mentioning the clearing of the slate: “You don’t owe me anything..” Dehaven seemed to have the opposite mentality.
Esso was not needed for this episode. He should've played the background and been quiet. Clue has the history with Jay and Roc a fella so Esso should have let Clue take the full lead and continue to build on how he started. CLEARLY YOU CAN SEE EMORY BODY LANGUAGE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOW WAS TOWARDS CLUE. WHICH SHOW THAT'S WHO HE WAS THERE TO TALK TO. AND WAS COMFORTABLE TALKING TO.
