Hi. Great reaction. There is no other voice in music like Courtney's. You hear one note and you know it's her. Not only is she completely unique, but she has one of the most beautiful and versatile voices in all of music. Hard to believe that the same person who is singing this gorgeous ballad is the same person that most of the world knows most as this incredible stage dominating rocker. That's another thing that makes Courtney so special as an artist. She can sing just about anything, from Rock to Ballads and R&B, Funk, Soul and many others in between and there is never any drop off to the incredible quality of her music. Can't forget to add what a powerhouse she is as a songwriter as well. I think this incredible song and performance gets to everyone who hears it. The song itself is so raw and powerful and Courtney sings with so much passion that this goes straight to the heart. Then you add the intensity of this incredible video on top of it. If you don't feel the pain and anguish this song and video conveys, then you don't have a pulse. I don't know how many times I've listened and watched this so far, but even when I know what's coming, it doesn't get any easier. What Courtney can do both vocally and visually never ceases to amaze. BTW, I thought the ending with the phone ringing and Courtney answering was brilliant. It's left an open question as to who's on the other end, but it ends a song full of pain and angst with a feeling of hope for everyone that has just gone on this heavy emotional ride with Courtney . 🔥🔥🔥🔥 You were talking about rockier songs. Courtney just dropped a fabulous rock anthem called 'Monsters'. It's simply brilliant. Honestly the best rock song I've heard in forever. It's such a magical experience when Courtney just cuts loose with her vocal power, and she certainly does that in this song. I think you will love it and it would make a great next reaction. Courtney has said that this song has a special meaning for her I never heard exactly why by the way the piano is the first musical instrument she learned to play and has now picked up the guitar thanks
Knowing you enjoy more rock on a personal level, you gave nice praise for what Courtney has done here. The lyrics have such deep emotions in them. I don't think anyone really knows who they are referencing except Courtney and maybe those who are close to her. But I've heard anything from someone no longer here, to someone leaving, and even a few mentioning to do with those music people who left her in the lurch possible. No matter what they stand for her writing abilities along with Kevin Bowe her producer/song writer have really put a lot of passion and emotion into this. Although Courtney can play piano and guitar, not sure if this was her playing or possibly another musician. Either way, it fits perfectly. Simple, yet on target. One of Kevin's remarkable production qualities when he works with his friend Courtney is that he really knows how to make Courtney the center piece. Looking forward to seeing what they can do together when Courtney makes it to the USA to work with him in person instead of through ZOOM
Nobody's had any copyright problems since Courtney went independent. She even commented on at least one reaction, thanking him for doing it. Unless I'm mistaken, so has her co-writer and producer, Kevin Bowe, who has a stake in all 4 of her original releases. She'll be going to meet him at his studio in Minnesota soon to finish her debut album. Thank you for this reaction. Yeah it's very different from what most of us first heard Courtney singing, but if you go back to videos of her from 6,7, some of them more than 8 years ago, before AGT, even before The Voice Kids UK, they're mostly ballads and they're amazing. The copyright problems come up not with Ms. Courtney's new music (4 songs released this year, 2023) but with vids of older performances. Between 'labels' (she had 2 at one point) and AGT and TVK-UK, most other vids of her or her other full live covers (VEVO) all will definitely ping you on copyright issues. Her own music videos (like this one) of music SHE released is controlled by her, and Ms. Courtney is intelligent and KNOWS the difference between someone trying to profit as if the music were their own vs a valid 'Reaction' channel helping her spread the word about her music as an indie singer-songwriter. Too bad the others aren't freakin' SENSIBLE about it. But that's what suits and ties do, cut off blood flow to the brain.

@@barrycarey7521 Last year she commented on Hatter Reacts' video. I was as surprised as he was because she doesn't do it a lot, but clearly she has no problem with the free publicity. Smart.
