Empire Collection. The Good and the bad. On 2022 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special in Redline Red. 

Just bought the tcmt version of these boards, they look exactly the same minus the hd branding and seem to be good quality. Also they stay up when you lift them and do not flop around when down.

Just put this collection on my 2022 Fat Boy last night, my boards have a spring which helps with the tension it was a easy install after we actually read the instructions for putting this one on versus the way the original was removed. I love the look and your bike is Awesome as well.

I’ve got the whole seroes on my RK Special. Very happy with all. Mirrors also show the rear traffic better that OEM ones.

Cool foot boards and pedals. The only thing I would mention is, from the looks of the way the passenger pegs stow away, it looks like they might be installed backwards. In other words, the right one is on the left side and left one is on the right side. When flipped up, they should slant backwards. From what I could tell in the video it looks like they flip straight up or possibly a little bit forward.

I've had a set of these, in chrome, on order for the last couple of months. Hope they come in soon. I also got passenger boards, instead of pegs, and the highway pegs, as well. All Empire.

How do you like the collection now that you've had it for a little bit? The only concern I have is is how my right heel will feel when shifting, if it will kind of get stuck in the opening.

Supposed to stay up? Why would you want the rider floor board to stay up on their own? I think that's odd and actually a safety issue if your riding. I love my Empire stuff so far.

I just got the footboards. They are very nicely made (and wow do you pay for it!) I also don't like that they can flop up & down. If you have your feet on highway pegs, those things are going to be bouncing around when hitting bumps.

I actually have the entire collection except the grips on my RG. I went to the dealership today to ask about the boards that don’t stay or and is just loose. They contacted their warranty department and said to make sure it’s torque down to 80-106 inch pounds. But I just think it’s bad design. I’m thinking of finding one rubber bushing to take up the slack.

It’s normal…. It for when you drag floor boards it won’t damage em..

Is there any other floorboard sets beside the HD collections? None of them I liked.

Your rear passenger pegs are on the wrong side. The directions in the box say the wide part of the peg goes to the front to match your brake pedal and floor board. Other than that good video.
