Before the U.S. Army Signal Corps had the TL-29 Linesman Knife, they had the Signal Corps Electrician Knife.

On my way to the V.A. on Thursday I had a wiring issue with my Wheel chair while at the Bus transit station. I fixed the problem in under 5 minutes using my R.R. Small Tiger stripe Toothpick that I keep in my EDC Assault pack. That little knife saved my butt. Looked at Electricians knife on SMKW when I got home. So I'm Really glad you made this Video today. Thank you Tobias, Keep the great content coming.

Congrats on a great score Tobias. Always fun to pick up a long sought after knife. Thanks for showing us and another short but interesting knife history lesson too. Nice addition to the collection.

My step-son is a Master Electrician. I'd like to find one of these because he really appreciates vintage items. Thanks for the video.

What memories this brings back. Reminds me of the days when I was an electrician for the Galactic Empire. Another great video!

Really cool T.. you could probably win a few bets asking someone to close that screwdriver blade. 😂👍. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing, sir.

First time I have seen an electricians knife using that lock design, a lot of knives out there, thanks for the video, Tobias.

Very cool! I found the back spring lock interesting. I wish I better understood how back spring locks work internally. Glad you found one of these knives and got it for a deal!!!

What an education!!! Loving ur channel more and more!! When I was a kid in high school (class of 75) . Teacher sold us one of the Camillus made electrician knives… Here I am interested in knives and I just sort of don’t give that one much thought … until now. Thanks for making history interesting Tobias. And what an interesting knife . I never seen that on a knife with that spring, unlocking a blade.. again what an education!!

Thanks. It's been a long hunt. Of course I'm still looking for one with the elusive "SC-USA" shield that I can afford but this one definitely makes me smile and there is the parable of a "Bird in the hand"

If it only can talk. What stories can it tell? Was it always in a kitchen or desk drawer? Did it travel around the world or around the states? What sort of work did it perform? And who and how many owned it? I see knives like this and that's what goes through my mind.

I had a web site but it was just to darn expensive to maintain. I guess my channel here is slowing turning into virtual tour of a museum of sorts.
