@ewupawly The DVD's come with the original version also. I like parts of the special edition better, but other parts of them I wish Lucas just left alone.
Solo telling Jabba that he was a "good human being" was a joke! It was deliberate,ot a mistake. Even back when Jabba was to be a claymation creature matted on top of the placement actor, this joke was still in the scene and shot.
Jabba was going to be human shaped. The original cut scene had a scruffy looking fat english dude. Its in the first 2 or 3 sentences of "Jabba the Hutt" at wikipedia. Also if you google image jabba human you'll see the scruffy guy.
The problem I have with George Lucas redoing Star Wars is when would that process end? Maybe in 10 years when computers and graphics get even better, George Lucas could make yet another iteration of reimaging the same movie. He also added mistakes such as Han Solo telling Jabba the Hut that he is a "good human being". He should have not bothered and went ahead to make a NEW Star Wars movie instead.
Shame GL didn't change the colour of Lukes clothes in ROTJ. Black didn't suit him. Just like Vader and the Emperor, it looked like a funeral at the end. All BLACK - yuck!
