I may get there eventually. War of 3 Kingdoms has no special rules, just like raids and I started tracking on the last 2 BETA runs. We'll see where it goes. Thanks for commenting, I'll keep them coming!

Thanks for the video Snake. My thoughts regarding the avg survivability of defenses is that the more a game type speeds up the play, the more it favors the defender (i.e. VFwars have a high defense survivability because the specials fire off so quickly, the attacker is more reliant on the starting board and can make less number of strategic moves. Conversely, if a game type slows down the game, it will favor the attacking team (i.e undead horde, each minion effectively heals its owner every 5 turns, thus giving the attacking team more moves to setup the tile play and less reliant on rng). I would consider the attack boost and arrow barrage wars to be variations on speeding up the pace of play as both decrease the survivability of the attacking team. Not sure how equalizer affects the pace of play since it doesn't consistently help or hurt either side. Anyways, love your videos and data. Keep up the great work.

Frank, thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! Very astute observation regarding an increase of speed favouring the defenders. I don't disagree! I would suggest another theory about rush though which I think compounds the defensive advantage. Of course there are exceptions, but I think it is safe to assume most people can muster 5 heroes that are suitable for rush wars and they are placed on Defense. Defending teams are there for the entire war, so no problems there, but as an attacking player, we don't have the luxury of having 30 optimal heroes that can be used to cover all 6 attacks. After a flag or two, people have to rely on mixed mana speed heroes or are completely out of Slow and Very Slow. What they've got left is some really good average/fast/v.fast heroes that just can't compete with a permanent defensive team of slower heroes. Anyway, love your observations and I hope you enjoy the other videos and I have more coming very soon!

@@ssnakepitgaming great point about the vfwars and the attackers running out of heroes that have the powerful specials to counter the defenses. Maybe the arrow barrage would be a better example of speeding up play since it is the type with the second highest survivability. Thanks for your fast reply.

Antonio, Skadi is probably the most important hero to have in this war type. I'll be covering Skadi in her entirety soon, but I'll tell you this for now about "Man-Hands". In Undead Horde, when looking at individual heroes that have been used at least 10 times in the different positions, Skadi generated the highest survivability rate at Tank and Flank. She is second on the wing. This is out of 250+ heroes that I observed, so that is both telling and incredible.

Yes, just be careful. It is such a small sample size and I doubt it would hold true if more occurrences are observed. Cheers Scott!

Snake it’s been a while and I’m not sure if you’re still playing, but how do you think your stats hold up with todays double limit broken heroes? How do you think a Mother North and Arco on the wings would do ?

It has been a while. Too long I suppose. If I'm truly honest, most stats I've posted are perishable over time, specifically those about how an individual hero performs. This is for obvious reasons as stronger heroes enter the ring at an incredible pace. With that said, some stats will be timeless so long as the actual game mechanics don't change. Things like dark/holy/dark or holy/dark/holy up the middle is preferable to rainbows, anti-minion heroes being superior to minion heroes in war, ensuring multi-target hitters are on the wings for attack boost wars, and putting a reviver (or two) on the wings is an excellent strategy are facets that I've covered that should stand the test of time. Speaking of Timeless, MN is as solid as you can get for the wings in rush, you are taking a gamble in the other wars...unless of course, you have one of the many newer heroes that increase mana generation. I will often include slow or very slow heroes on my defence in non-rush wars if I stick Hippo or Queen Anne in the middle three positions. I'll be back soon with at least one new video, we'll see where it goes from there. To respond to your first comment though, yes, I am still playing daily. All the best, glad you wrote as it reminds me that I have work to do to catch up with all you wonderful people that have followed with me on this journey.

@@ssnakepitgaming Brother, I'm touched that you took the time to respond... so thoughtful. I'm glad you're still playing the game because I know it can take a toll. I couldn't imagine producing weekly video content devoted to E&P's gameplay, strategy, and heroes. Because of the endless rollout of heroes, ads, and additions to gameplay (Aethers), I've contemplated leaving many times. But I still get slightly nervous when facing a team with at least four double-limit broken heroes. But despite it all, I stick around, thinking up new ways to use my own limit-broken-not-so-new heroes to beat the new ones, and leaning heavily on videos like yours. - The Agonizer
