Um so yeah my 2010 patrol can and has done far harder trails and has no major upgrades snorkel whinch duel battery and upgraded suspension to handle extra weight. Nothing major not even lockers yet just good tyre's and basic mods. So as a Nissan man doesn't impress me at all hate to say.

Like all Patrol fans I think Nissan should have kept solid axles under the Patrol. Its part of the heritage! It would be the same thing for us here in the States if Jeep put independent suspension anywhere near the Wrangler.
