Battle Series continues: UniChip Vs Safari, Y62 Patrol Vs LC200 LandCruiser. Which one is quicker when it counts? Traction, power and a massive dune settle this once and for all.
Why is no one mentioning that the old GQ climbed that sand hill better??? Less wheel spin an the driver took a much nicer line... the 200 and Y62 makes this look hard...
Because its lighter, has bigger tyres and is running an LS1... Maybe no ones mentioning it because its the perfect combo for sand driving and is expected?
It's soft as all buggery down that way, need to go and check it again out one day soon. Did you ever get that fist set of Max Tracks back out, looks like the Patrol sent them deep into the sand.
CTS powerlifting There is in GCC. 300k+ I think the drivetrain will last just like the 200 although you’ll have to take a better care. Interior, suspension and everything else LC wins. But I like y62 more!
@@Agent.K. the local dealer here once gave prizes to highest mileage nissan patrols. The record was 1.4 million km 1980s patrol. The y61 had 300k km and 400k km. Never seen a lc200 past 600k km but tons of taxi Camrys have 1million km +.
This is on sand and usually petrol cars do better on sand. The Australian Y6 has a big petrol engine. Get the V8 petrol version of the LC200 from US and then do the test! :)
thats right, whats the point , comparing apples to oranges. y62 has a locker rear diff that no one is taking about, and who won the race? no one was at the finish line, they travel hundreds of km,s to meet up, and then can,t film at the finish line? all bit of a joke really. click bait.
The LC went up that first hill really easy. All the others made it look harder except the old patrol. Guess the sand was cut up a bit.. The last y62 looked awesome doing it tho! That sand was so damn soft. How the rest get through?
I was laughing when the y62/patrol got stuck in sand but not that it got stuck I was laughing for you guys putting so much effort in digging and placing the planks to get the car out and it probably took half an hour to do that if it was us arabs we wouldn't even get the car stuck and even if it got stuck we would remove the car in 5 mins without anything without anyone
please all note. deflate your tires when u hit soft sand ...like reduce to 1/3 of normal preasure. ...and if u ever bogg down....dont push it.....just deflate more.....10 psi....even more if u need to.....carefully and slowly reverse....and then once out...move forward with momentum....keep pressures 1/3rd of normal and inflate back when out of sand or drive slow ...like below 80 kmph or slower. be safe....remember....u can always get out of sand if u deflate. ....dont turn fast when ur tire pressure is too low as that can knock ur tire off the rim.
That's the first beach out of Nora creana, very treacherous on a bad day .Nearly lost my Landrover Discovery on that one , "sandbags are the best for getting you out" cheap, easy to store and just leave them behind they just rot away .
Daniel Attwood I’ve seen that spot full of stuck 4x4s too. Crazy how that pebbley sand is only in that 300m. All the trucks were at 10psi and all with the same problems as this. That Nissan V8 helps though👍
