Great review. I’ve just moved from NN 4x90 to Endless 4x90. I only had less than an hour but they felt very stable at speed. I didn’t do much just edges, stride work and glide focus to make sure I have the frames in the right place on my feet. Then I can crack on with some wizard stuff. I’m excited.

The rocker on the Endless 90 is ~ 0.8mm (+/- 0.05mm) front and back. Measured with a filler gauge on my Endless LR 90 with only the bearings and spacers on - 1:38 in the video.

Thanks for the excellent review, I have had my endless 90/110 frames for a month and am absolutely loving them, I have been doing beginners speed skate classes on 3 wheel 90 set up and they are so smooth and stable, and adult beginners lessons on 4 wheel 90 , totally enjoying the turning and incredible stability, being in my mid sixtys and trying to get healthier these endless blades have given a huge confidence boost Id recommend them

I've switched to the Endless 90s as well, and I agree with everything you shared about them. They provide a good mix of agility and stability - plus, for someone with large feet the added length is great to have (previous frames were 261mm, these are 276mm), and maneuverability is not inhibited due to the rocker. My one complaint is that they're significantly heavier than my old frames. I'd love to see an updated version with thinner walls or cutouts added to reduce weight, but I do think the step up to 90mm wheels mitigates much of the fatigue caused by added weight.
@whittyskater
@whittyskater 3 года назад
Glad you are liking them as well. I think my only concern with making them lighter would be if that compromised their strength. I'm sure though in time the guys at endless will look to make any improvements they can....they seem like innovators to me.

I'm currently using some K2 inline skates which I'm looking to upgrade. I find there's not much support and have been thinking about a FR1 boot with 5 x80 frames to add some more stability as I'm still learning. I like a free flowing style skate at a relaxed pace. Have you tried riding any 5 frame set ups? 👍 Great channel by the way!

They just announces Endless for Trinity frames. I will be getting those (4x90) Loco do sell the frames you have here so i contacted Endless and asked them fi they have any plans for the Trinity frame at Loco and they said. "we hope so, ask Loco to get them in" the price for Trinity frame is $205. hence my hesitancy to buy them directly from the states. Is that alleyway at 5:20 haunted. There's an alleyway in my town really similar to that and my grandad had a ghost walk between him and his mate there back in 1940s. they used to hang people at the end of it. ... Anyway... haha. Nice review that is swinging towards me getting a pair. All the best mate. (still bloody cold here) Take care

Nice vid Whitty thanks for posting! these frames look bad boy!! and black looks IMO nicer than the silver. I have been keen on getting some for a while, think your vid has finally convinced me! thanks, dude! PS I also have the same boot as you FR1- such a sweet boot! how are you getting on with the Intuition liners in them? and are they really that much more comfortable/supportive than the FR stock liner? which to be fair is a pretty good liner I feel have now skated in them for over a year. Thanks, man! and happy skating!

Yeah I enjoy this frame too, the 90's are great, I did enjoy the 3x110 setup also, yes it's long and it seems to not want to change direction lol but you do get used to it and it's so ridiculously fast.. I'm gonna try my slightly worn 110's from my Seba 110 frame on the endless on front and back, or just the front wheel, see what a slight rocker on that length feels like. The 90's are definitely very fun, fast and maneuverable, and it's a quality frame! Nice video 👍🏻

Thanks for the great rewiev! You seem to use the frame mostly with your Fr1 boots or your Seba High carbon boots. Can you please tell us how the frame feels with theese two quite different boots. I quess your Sebas are stiffer and lighter and have a moore tight fit for example - how does it influence your experience when you skate the E 90? Maybe you enjoy to use the frame with your Fr1 with the intuition liner the most. Am I right? If so can you please explain why. Take care and skate safe!

Fantastic Review I am hoping to get these also for my FR2 .I am currently using the basic ones supplied on the 80mm wheels. I want to ask was the rocker noticeable .? As the rocker that I can adjust on my fr2 which I think is about 3mm for normal skating i find unstable possibly due to such a short frame lengh but fine for going round cones doing slalam. So this would be my first 90mm set up .Regards Paul

As a beginner, going to buy FRx skates soon... I'm still not sure what framesize to go. I'm at 43 or 44 size EU. So the FRx standard 243, 80mm seems short for my feet but very agile and reactive. 273? With 90mm's does sound better for my shoesize, but it looks so clumsy to ride and crossover... I would use them for rolling through town like you, so many different surfaces, bit of jumps, and bit of distance... Larger frame and 90mm's would ask less effort i guess. I go for FRx for budget, so not sure if i even can get a larger frame from the start for that price. Just hope 80/243 will be ok too?

@@whittyskater hi , thx for the quick reply. i did buy the FRX ones Saturday. It was in a small store, so i could not roll on it for a distance, but they felt good. I did not have the option (in my budget) to go for the larger frame (FR1's) but i did try some fitness skates (powerslides ?) with the 275/90mm setup, that felt much much safer :p but the softboot didn't have much stability (comfy though). So i have to learn on short frame FRX's, going to try later today for the first time ... Thx again.

@@reimakoivukoski1917 Not sure, how much more a better aluminum alloy would cost... They are for sure not made in US, so the alloy is also not from US. The chinese make everything from cheap crap to high quality.

I'm not sure where they are made but I can confirm my endless 90 Frames are excellent quality. I've been using them for about 3 years now and they are still in great condition. I agree they are a little pricey but quality costs money and I personally think they are worth the price.

@@whittyskater The endless frame looks interesting indeed. Following information might also be interesting to someone: Wheelbase: 276 mm Brake compatibility: 4x90: Powerslide Urban Brake Size M (908058/2) - may require modification to fit 3x110: Powerslide Megacruiser 125 (907029), FR Skates 3W Brake (FRBRK-3W) The "Combat Rocker Trinity 90" is also a nice frame, where you can configure your rockering by rotating your shaft. Wheelbase here: 290mm.

@@jovicamilenovic2899 the combat rocker frame is longer and heavier. but you can drive it completely flat. I prefer 3x 100 and the endless 80 is perfect for that. 3x 90 is great too. For tricks and fun I prefer to ride the katana rocker 4x80. But it's also flat.

I'm hoping I can grab a pair of the new trinity mount version in the near future to go with my new HC Evo that's arriving soon! I don't know which one to buy though... I've used both 80mm and 90mm flat, but 80 is a bit squirrely and 90 is a bit sluggish in the turns. I'm hoping the 84mm with the slight rocker will be perfectly in the middle, but I've never used a rocker before so I really don't know... Would you suggest I try the 84 or 90? as I'm trying to get the right balance between stability and maneuverability. I know everyone skates differently but even just a guess would be a big help since you've used them for a while now.

I find the 90mm endless frame is as easy to control and turn in as a flat 80mm. If you want more stability go 90, if you want a little more foot speed go 84.

@@whittyskater well by nothing short of a miracle I managed to get the 84/100 endless trinity frame through a stock error at a local skate shop! so I chose that size I the end. I'll be putting it on the new HC Evo boot so I'm set for the next few years now. Feels good to finally have a setup that I can skate for the foreseeable future and really learn how it feels.

@@moopylicious9426 try 3x100 with Wicked Abec 9 bearings and Powerslide Spinner wheels or Undecover in hardness 88A. That's damn fast.

From size 43 or Mondopoint 280 I would prefer the 90 frame. You just feel safer with it. With 3x100 the endless frames are very fast and easy to maneuver. I prefer the LR version because even when I ride long distances of over 20 km, the 3x100mm is completely sufficient for me. With 3x110 the weight increases significantly and acceleration suffers noticeably. The LR frame can only do 3x100 and is extremely flat.

I wonder why you didn’t go for the 100mm instead?

Excellent review! Really glad you're having so much fun on these. I am a bit split between the Endless and NN frames. Have contacted both, but if it were my money, it's pretty hard to decide. Peace 🤜🏻🤛🏻. You're almost at 20k subs 🙌

Those NN frames look interesting. Bit of a different type of rocker.

How coincidental! Currently waiting on my Endless 90s in black to arrive, so hyped. Thanks for the video, really reminded me why I thought they were worth the price tag in the first place.
