I just love it when spiff decides what wonder to build, but immediately changes it since Duncan's says what he was going to get for the sheer purpose of fucking other people over.

No, he settled in the wrong spot and has been paying for it since. The forgotten is a hard civ to play because they intentionally fall off at tier 2

Forgotten are okay, but how they 'earn' money is by going to the nearest empire and burning all their villages to the ground. Their passive gives like 500~ dust each raze, and in later stages of the game, sometimes 50-80 mithrite/oricaltrix.

I just played a forgotten game and it went brilliantly, i just bought out some strong techs and amassed an army.

To be fair though, forgotten units aren't the best, so I would argue it's also about positioning to get a good, possibly tanky minor faction like Urces or Minotaur. A lot of players would say forgotten is one of the worst, but it is doable from what I've seen. Some races are just easier to play than others.

Well, they did declare war on Germany first. France even invaded the Saarland a day later. Of course the reason for Hitler to finally declare war on Poland after at least six attempts of negotiation, trying to make them cease their ethnic cleansing of germans (~200.000 deaths) in lands owned by (and annexed between the two wars) the polish, is usually being left out by the people blaming Germany for both World Wars. I wrote a longer explanation on this matter some time ago, but it never appears in the comments. Maybe too long, maybe some keywords in there that are to remain suppressed, who knows. i feel like spiff could have just split his armies, make zoeff waste his reinforcements' action points on one army and then spiff's other armies could have killed at least 2 stacks each turn.

can't help bu notice that literally no one is going for the Triton facilities... they are so easy to take, three fire ships can steam roll the seven seas and your output will be insurmountable

The Forgotten are honestly one of the *easier* factions to win a Science victory with. And Lewis is making plenty of money to just buy heroes and techs with.

I want a 40k Civ-like game. Each Civ would likely be each race like The Imperium, Tau, Ork, Chaos etc but having each Legion Of The Imperium be seperately playable would be nice.

I love how they all think Forgotten units are terrible even though they are absolutely terrifying invisible one-shot machines

So it's been a long time since I played this game but I think reinforcements are not weighted as heavily in the auto battles. Which means splitting your forces lowers your overall chance of winning fights... You can really see this in the real fights because you can spawn camp the reinforcements as they enter the map.
