Awesome video Ryan, and big up to all you lads on hitting that 2k soon! You guys really deserve it and will be sharing the channel on my socials for sure to try and help push you guys there if I can! :) My whole OBR list plan getting crushed... List went from 2k to 2090pts, then Mir Kainan finally got nerfed and then also stomped out my plans with shackles! GW must have watch my army list video and said OH HELL NAH! Haha!! Ahh well... ^^ I love the changes to pendulum. One of the best looking spells IMO so nice to see it have more play potential. Not sure how I feel about the new Burning head but it's cool they're trying something new with it by becoming part of the unit it hits. It will be fun to try a few of these for sure! :)
@@ryanburruss I haven't really used it since the earlier second edition days when Endless Spells where new so might be a little nostalgia bias haha! It was D6 back then. But the game state MW where so much more rare so hitting someone with a D6 MW was straight up awesome sauce. It took alot of setting up as when you let it go it would only go in a straight line and move off the table/super easy to dodge after the first cast but waiting for the enemy to engage and hitting them with the big D6 on multiple units even just for one turn then was way worth it. Now it's just super great to see that you can move it backwards and forwards on the line so it has potential to have more than the one hit wonder if you can get someone locked down or as you pointed out in the video use it to threaten an objective/key choke point on the table! :)
@@ryanburruss still need to test if it's worth it, but it tags a hero that would probably escape shooting, adds up with the navigator's damage, can't be flung back at you after it tags a unit and if the opponent deals with it you could cast it again with an arcane tome if you really want an andtorian locus for tactics and mystic shielded boats.
@@ryanburruss My favourites are Suffocating Gravetide, Geminids, Pendulum, Palisade, Quicksilver swords and Maelstrom (only if you aim to use it in combination with the Rupture spell to make the Incarnate level 3 on the first turn).. 🙂
