Join me on my endometriosis and ovarian cyst journey, as I have my first laparoscopic surgery. I share everything from pre-operation, the surgery, recovering, and tips to help if you’re going to be experiencing surgery.
If you’re not familiar with endometriosis, I can tell you, nothing online accurately describes the pain. It is considered to be in the top 10 most painful chronic conditions, and most women who experience it do not even know they have endometriosis because they think the pain is "normal".
I hope to be an advocate for those experiencing similar pain or diagnosis. If you have questions, drop them below!

Can you still have children? I was 32 and had to have a hysterectomy, never had any kids. 😢 I'm 72 now. Good luck sweetheart!

You are lucky to have a supportive husband. I have a adexel mass on my left side ovary , pcos , and a fibrode tumor . I have to have an MRI and cancer test. Then I will be having surgery to remove .

Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Could you maybe explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

I had my robotic lap endo myosure May 16, 2024 under general anesthesia. The moment they put u on OR table, anesthesiologist will put a mask on ur face. First breath u'll feel relaxed and sleepy, 2nd breath ur groggy, then ur out. I woke up in recovery room freezing, but they wrapped me with blankets with warm air. I think it's the general anesthesia wearing off. Few minutes later no more chills. They didn't have to keep me on oxygen coz the moment i woke up even if i'm a little groggy i was doing deep breathing to expand my lungs.

I just got my surgery on Valentine’s Day and the very next day when I laid on my back I literally couldn’t breath. Hospital said it was normal to feel that way. The only question rl quick is when you laid on your side did it feel like your ovary would flop to the side or is it just me?

You’re right, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
