I noticed how the ENDS sign actually reads differently. In the first time it says "Ends don't we all..." then it says "Ends, we don't all..." and then after the second death it says "Ends. we all don't."

It was pretty funny watching you hit the button to cross the wrong direction like 10 times, decide it doesn't work, and jaywalk for the rest of the video. Unlocked a memory of me doing that IRL and standing there confused for several minutes at my city's biggest intersection. But that's how I learned that yes, those buttons do do something IRL.

I love how the loud monster is supposed to be a semi truck it really fits the part

this is off topic but the librarians voice sounds so genuine. its almost "too" genuine bc youtube is so saturated with people doing over the top bits and expressions that his sounds odd. but its so comforting and soothing and helps me relax and slow down and take my time. i appreciate ur videos

6:28 The button for the cross walk worked but you didn’t seem to actually look where the arrow pointed. The other button was for your cross walk. You can see just before the time stamp it’s a halt signal but when you look back at it (the time stamp) it’s a walk signal.

Very interesting, this game excels at an atmosphere of isolation IMO, even though you're on a paved, lit road with cars coming and going, and a map in your hand... it honestly feels like you're really the only person or thing around at all. if it weren't for the occasional homicidal car, i could see myself playing this just to relax and zone out. This definately hits the cozy yet creepy margin for me.

At the same time as not getting much sleep, I've been binge watching your VR Gmod videos recently, and ended up cleaning my bedroom to make room for VR. After seeing a couple of your IRL urbex videos and finally getting decent (more or less) sleep I dreamt of walking barefoot around an abandoned building, stepping in rough dirt and bugs.

As someone with a phobia of cars and a generalized anxiety disorder, I almost cried at the end when it showed your room. I’ve not related to a game like this in ages.

I wondered if as long as you kept moving and or didnt look behind you, that the dark figure (2legged)wouldnt or couldn't grab you. I liked the car passing sounds as they reminded me of when i was a kid and traveling with my parents in the old cars,(that werent quiet inside and sealed up from outside noises as the new cars are) and i would fall asleep to hearing the cars tires making the hissing road noise and when it was raining it was even better with the wet road noise.

I feel like you'd really enjoy the "Endless Dark"! While it may not be the type of game you typically do, it's vibe is quite... creepy-comfy? You play a little maintenance drone taking care of a spaceship and it's Cryo-sleeping passengers through a long journey! Discovering new things about yourself (and slowly going insane/rebelling against your programming!)

i fucking choked on my food at the first scare with the actual beast whatever it was, jesus that scared me half to death update: ive been fine with all of librarians other videos, but with this one, ive just had to put on background music while watching, sadly killing the vibe but i love this games concept but i just cant get through it properly its so good at what it does im too scared of it after that first proper scare

Walked 7 miles in the Harz mountains in Germany at like 10pm middle of winter cus we go off the at the wrong bus stop on the last bus of the night. Took us like 2 hours but it was the best and worst walk of my life, There was 1 car and the last wooded area had a lot of noises, turns out they were "Wild Pigs" as the locals called them but they are just small boar looking things.

I popped in saw the look of the game and didnt watch further as I want to be surprised. it really does capture the mood of walking at night so I will get this and see where it leads. although it appears to be more like Biking home as the player appears to move and a pretty fast clip.

theory: what if the reason they try to run him over is the thing behind him? hear me out here so they drive by and while most either don't see it and aren't focused, are driving in the opposite direction. or scary idea maybe they are so traumatized by the thing behind him it triggers a fight or flight responce and while most go for flight some pick fight and attempt to just kill whatever that thing is behind him along with him in the crossfire.

The first time I saw the visuals I thought "the monsters are either going to be 2D, or very pixelated", but boy was I wrong! The game has an immense atmosphere that I have not experienced in any other game before. To be completely honest, I'd rather play the game as the way you did, without using the phone. Having a fully usable phone takes away from the loneliness. Maybe an update could include losing the phone when you die and then maybe having to use a paper map, or rely on street signs.

MAN I WAS BETTING THAT THE PHONE WAS INTERACTABLE!!!111 Btw, the fact its a terror game ending with a real happy one is a high point, because the "endless torment" approach is sooo much overused. I mean, everyone knows the parallels it does with the "the character is trapped inside the game/waving to simulation hyphotesis/matrix" thing but its just too much for my taste. Also, i love when Librarian forget to put "Flashing Lights/Jumpascares" warning on the beginning. Wading ourselves in a video without knowing if it will have jumpscares or not is far more exciting.
