I had panic attacks for 20 years. Can’t count how many times I frantically drive myself to the hospital or called an ambulance thinking I was having a heart attack. Was so overcome with fear and worry. The past few years I have been reading a lot and it had helped me. The body keeps the score is a great book. A lot of it is from childhood trauma. Please tell her to do intense, physical exercise. It helps tremendously, and to join some group therapy or one on one therapy, and also the Bible, of course, and just trusting God, and letting things play out in life as they will be. Another book that has helped me tremendously is, the audible book practicing the power of now. Whenever she’s having a panic attack you have to remember it’s never fear of something that’s happening now, it’s always from thoughts, you have to look around the room and realize you’re in a safe bed and deep breathe deep and realize there’s nothing that can hurt you. It’s only thoughts.Your in a warm safe bed. Your a good caring mother you both will be fine
