The problem with the fourth jobs is that none of the gear we have synergizes with their skills. So we are all still using 3rd job skills. The damage output for the 4rth job skills is less.
Half of my Arch Mage skill points are going back into Warlock after getting Astral Strike and Rock Down to FINALLY get an Earth AoE that works with Soul Drain. Only real interesting spells are in the Astral Strike tree. At least Warlock made me think about placements and even had a few unique support spells like Sienna Excerate and Stasis so it could reliably do something other than damage.
ikr. after watching some 4th job classes. THEY JUST LOOK THE SAME. I mean, how to explain it,, it's just that the designs differ. It's sucks because it wasn't like this before. The designs also are sloppy. Basically, the 3rd job classes are better than these, but what is better to 4th class is that they have point click then AOE and then bam your sorrounding enemies will gain damage. So boring. idk. it's just that, they have the same to other classes now. is it just me
They can have arc mage as exclusive neutral poison and shadow magic user but they are too lazy invented new mechanism, so sad they let all the opportunity to waste Its just warlock with shitty new name skill
Could have been better if they include effects like that wind cannon could have added some push back effect, overall the skill and english name of it feels bad
4th job is all about you spam skill with million damage No unique mechanims even the skill name is horrible its like they hire kindergarden to write all skill name
