Thanks for making this great playlist for the Definitive Edition! Why are some of the tracks listed as "OG" though? Are those tracks from the old soundtrack? Did you choose which tracks to include from OG and which from DE or is this mix just what is on the official soundtrack?

I actually freaked out the first time I heard Counterattack, since it seemed so similar to this one. I spent an entire cutscene chanting "someone's gonna die, someone's gonna die". It took me ages to realise Counterattack was supposed to make me feel good, not give me PTSD.

There should be an update that let us choose which ver of each song

The issue is that in cutscenes where the song starts in a cutscene but ends during a fight, it can be toggled. In cutscenes where the song starts and ends within a cutscene, it's stuck as the new version with no way to change it. i would also disagree that it adds more gravitas, as the new vocals just sound goofy and out of place to me.

@@casshernsins8333 the game almost didn’t come to the west And when it did 2 years later it was sold exclusively at GameStop And it got a New 3ds port which a lot of people didn’t own Then it came to the Wii U virtual console which didn’t sell very well So this was a lot of people’s first experience with the game

Do yourself a favour and listen to the original. Its much better compared to this. The game itself though is a jewel encrusted with gold, platinum and diamonds.

This song is amazing up until the point the vocalist goes a bit over the top... The game itself though is an absolute gem that is finally being released at a good time in a consoles life cycle

@@PowerOf47 The line in that scene actually has a double meaning. Egil wasn't only talking about the literal blade in his chest, but Shulk/Vanea's words. He's drawing a comparison between Shulk convincing him to stop and a blade trying to cut through him. Egil is essentially saying that Shulk failed to either kill or convince him.

Potential Spoilers following: Literally the best game I've ever played. The last 4 chapters blew my mind and threw all my expectations out the window. I initially thought the Zanza twist was very out of left field but it's growing on me. I am kinda sad that I wanna say the last time this song plays is when you kill Dickson. This song kind of defines the game for me because when Fiora dies was when I really fell in love with the game. I could tell the developers had so much love put in to the game and that they were going to relentless in showing their passion for every tiny aspect of the game. I can't give this game a score out of ten because even if a number could encapsulate my love for this game it would be incomprehensible to the human mind.

The only issue with finishing this game is that you can never truly experience it again, I wish I could forget it for that reason

@@mikiwibu I can agree 99%. It is definitely one of the best games I have every player, and it probably contends for my favorite game ever. Only thing that limits it is the genre and the fact this masterpiece was originally made on the Wii

Even when Definitive Edition is done, you'll still have many adventures left to go. Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Torna, and 3 await.

@@VerbDoesStuff Definitely Definitive if you can! The new QoL stuff makes it much easier to get into, and the presentation and menus are top notch. So far it makes the original honestly much tougher to go back to.
