Excellent video. A brilliant game very well explained. It will inspire me to take another look at the London System which I had previously found to be rather dull. But the London appeared a few times in the current World Cup, so it is clearly a very powerful respected opening. Thank you Alex for all the excellent videos, and Gata for an outstanding game.

In fact it are the slight inaccuracies that make the London so dangerous for Black, and all of a sudden White has a huge attack and can deliver the Greek Gift and so on. Same with the Colle System which is the little brother of the London.

Yep its nice, but it is still only +0.57 advantage. It`s not accentuated in video, but the move that gives that +2 advantage is actually two moves away: 12th ....Qxc5

Great game, thanks. Stockfish 16 avoids all of this by not playing 12 ... dxc5. White is still a fair bit better there though.

Alex, in recent video's your audio is not in sync with you image. Maybe some framerate issue or other RU-vid setting? Maybe check it. Love your content btw.

Personally I think Alex is more serious, and thorough in his explanations. Levy is more of an entertainer, and can be quite superficial (and irritating) at times. But good luck to both.

HI Alex! Can you please make a video on "really instructive" plays, I can play the openings but in the middle and end game I don't spot instructive plays and end just blundering. Idk my brain goes offline or something! I am 900 😅
