And to blame the quality of Trippier's pass for Foden stupidly straying offside is outrageous. For all of Trippier's inadequacies, he put it on a plate for Foden (and with his left foot). - Trippier is turning 34 in a few months, Kyle Walker is 34 already & both have looked poor this season. It’s not like we have a lack of options at RB, so why are these guys even still playing in the first place when TAA is fit. And if you’re going to take gambles, then Reece James is fit now and has actually played games at the end of the season (cough Luke Shaw). - Foden at LW simply cannot continue. It was obvious after the Denmark game it doesn’t work and even more so after Slovenia. The fact Southgate persisted this far is crazy. Anthony Gordon has been flying at LW all season and is exactly what this team needs. - The midfield balance is completely lacking & after saying Wharton was a profile we’ve been lacking for ages, Southgate proceeds to not even give him a minute. Wharton is the kind of player you need to control the midfield which is apparently what Southgate’s England want to do. - The timing of subs is so so bad. Everything is way too late & he’s clearly not capable of making tough decisions (taking off Kane, Foden or Saka when it’s clear things are working). - What even is the logic behind playing Konsa at LB ahead of Joe Gomez who’s played there considerably this season? - There is absolutely nothing from this team in terms of style of play or tactics. It’s all relying on individual brilliance & moments, it’s embarrassing. Switzerland are well drilled and actually have a style of play and attacking. Expect them to win comfortably as it’s clear now Southgate is extremely out of his depth. We won’t get lucky again.

Marc Guehi an 8 LOL what a joke He is a walking disaster, another absolute miracle for Southgate that he is suspended for the next game, mistake after mistake all tournament and he's just lucky to get away with it. Ball watching for the goal, runs back & fouls the attacker who luckily for him scores instead of going down because it would have been a second yellow and a penalty. Then your video would be entirely different.

We need to play fast and aggressive. I truly believe we need two up top. The best we played was the 10 minutes Toney and Kane played together. A second striker automatically pulls defenders attention, if they mark Toney, Kane has space and vice versa. Toney in the box gave Bellingham the Space for the goal. Exactly the same for Kanes goal. Then what? We take Kane off for Gallagher, play all out defence. Nothing else happens until Toney snatches at a half chance with 8 seconds left.

Bellingham didn’t add much but comes through in the big moment. Get him in the 8 to try and fix the other problems going forward and he can still find himself in those positions to make an impact
