I pulled over in my car to listen to the last part of the test match with England actually beating West Indies for the first time since 1969 Brilliant memories
Brilliant can now watch the highlights of the 1991 series Fortunate that summer because of my working hours I was able to watch really the whole series But with you sharing this great series its made my month to watch this series again I have already thanked you last year or so for the 1988 series But anyway thanks again for letting me watch this classic again Peter 😢
So Phil Simmons played and Brian Lara was 12th man. Ok........... Not that Simmons was a bad player but considering what Lara would do in Australia a year and a half later, I’m surprised he didn’t play. Patterson was a great bowler, so quick. Shame that his career petered out and he went missing for a number of years. Glad that Bharat found him and brought his story into the public.
Begs the question why Robin Smith was batting all the way down at number 6, behind novices (and future Test flops) Hick and Ramprakash. Smith should've been at 3 or 4.
My England Team Would Have Won This Wisden Test Series. Gooch Capt, Stewart, Hussain, Fairbrother Lamb, Chris Lewis, Dicky Blakey wk, De Freitas Small, David Syd Lawrence, Malcolm.
Hello Berry, he pulled a hamstring in the first ODI that Summer and was unfit for selection until July. England eventually picked him for the 5th and final Test in August. Thanks for watching, DARREN
@@berrywilton7334 Hello Berry, yes I have every Ashes Test from 1978 onwards. However, due to copyright, matches from Australia will not be uploaded. Thank you for your interest, DARREN
