Actually, by the looks of it, and the way the toast rose, I think that may be a toaster from the past. A toaster was made in the mid 20th century that automatically made your toast pop up without you having to do anything, you didn't even have to push a lever down take the toast in, the prices if bread would lower as bread and rise as toast on their own. Technology Connections made an excellent video about these types of toaster. I also may be totally wrong about this, and Babish just has a really expensive toaster 😂
Oh man, can you imagine Andrew in his 80s trying to get the sponsorship of some young whippersnappers who only filed their company registration papers the other day? :P
"Today's episode is sponsored by Blue Origin's respirators! Wander around the red planet in your Hello Kitty personalized oxygen converter, or maybe you prefer the sick design of the new Darth Vader respirator"
Since Thea White (a.k.a. voice actress of Muriel Bagge from Courage the Cowardly Dog cartoon) passed away, make either Happy Plums or Chicken Dumpling to honor her
Huh, could be a cool take on Basics with Babish: instead of the recipe itself being super basic, it's the stuff that you need to use. Though would probably also need simpler recipes. I like the idea!
@@da_pikmin_coder8367 Never cared for all day breakfast. When I worked nightshift I wanted an all day lunch so I could get some burgers in the morning when I left work 😂
Hey Babs, have you ever thought about recreating recipes from older shows? Like Aunt Bee’s fried chicken from The Andy Griffith Show, or Laura’s cinnamon chicken from Little House on the Prairie. Maybe Lucy’s bread from I Love Lucy? I think vintage shows could have some really interesting recipe gems hiding in them. 😋
Go to the Babish Culinary Universe Subreddit and post it there! That's where the majority of Babishorama gets generated, and Andrew himself occasionally pops by!
I feel like I had to scroll to far to see this mentioned... Just grey nails out of nowhere, without explanation!?! I need answers and none are being provided!
He’s been painting his nails for a while now, at least in his most recent videos. Just something he wants to do, so he does it. Lots of RU-vid men, or men in general, are painting their nails these days.
When’s the last tome you’ve ate an untoasted English muffin?…umm, like every single time I’ve been thru a Tim Hortons drive thru and asked for my breakfast sandwich to be toasted, and I get a luke warm doughy sandwich lol
Thank you SO much for doing no stand mixer instructions. Made a few of your recipes before with varying results due to lack of a stand mixer. It is on the top of my list to buy when I move into a kitchen big enough to contain one.
He’s been using Holo Taco I think. He gets PR from SimplyNailogical. She’s super cool, you should check her and/or her nail polish out. She’s got a one coat black polish that is blowing minds since it’s such a tricky polish color.
When the video first started, I thought Babish's nail polish was actually bruised nails from him hitting his fingers with a hammer and now I can't unsee it...
yeah I don't understand the appeal of black nail polish unless you've got an obvious full goth look going on, it just looks like you've bruised all of your fingernails
Not Babish, but if you're just interested in the idea of following the recipes the game provides generally as closely as possible, there's a channel called GameTim that has a bunch of Cooking Mama videos. He hasn't posted in over a year, but there's a decent library from when he was posting.
I don’t know why I was so uber aware of this, but Andy didn’t actually say out loud that we were making English muffins until like 3 minutes into this video. made me laugh
The muffins are glorious, but I have to point out that Babish managed to match his nails to his shirt *and* his crockery. I love the polish on this show.
These are amazing. I make 18 instead of 12. I use an electric griddle at around 300F , six minutes a side and then another 6 in an oven at 350F. Can't go back to grocery store English muffins.
Idk what it is about the painted nails, but they add the extra bit of serotonin, to make this video perfect, despite it being irrelevant to, you know, what he's teaching us. It brings me such joy lol
It would be disappointing. There’s only about 3 towns here that know what English muffins are, and none are friendly. I legitimately did not know what one was until I was 30
I literally just yesterday made myself a egg English muffin with a slice of white cheddar and pastrami topped with some Mexican style hot sauce.... So tasty.
Any mobile game sponsor sickens me, I don’t blame the RU-vidr for taking the sponsorship , but mobile games are the most soulless leeches for money on the planet
@@coneinggaming6285 Not ALL of them (DragonVale, for one, has stayed very friendly to free-to-play players), but the majority of them are for sure, sadly. Probably because they're just the easiest to make and the easiest to get people hooked into.
Best way to eat these things is to fork-split them, toast and butter while still hot. Add a thin scrape of marmite and finish with a couple of thick chunks of mature cheddar. The hot, buttery and savoury muffin contrasts beautifully with the salty, sharp and creamy (cool and not melted) cheese.
One day at work I ordered a hamburger for lunch. They didn't have any hamburger buns left and asked if I would be okay with a toasted English Muffin instead. I said sure, thinking it is all bread. After that, whenever I ordered a hamburger I always asked for it to be put on an English Muffin instead. Never went back to hamburger buns as the english muffins were more sturdy.
Hi! I just sat down for breakfast after making a hash brown egg and spinach English muffin, and when I checked my phone this was here. Now I'll be eating my English muffin wishing Babbish made it!
What if you made the Monster Krabby Patty from Spongebob Squarepants? Babish: Monster Krabby Patty?! Babish fans: Monster Krabby Patty?! Guy in bathroom: Monster Krabby Patty?!
