Do you know what’s happening with discovery plus on the firestick keeps coming up with a dmr error

I really enjoy your videos. I watched the one on adding storage to your firestick. Well, I have a flash drive that I installed on my Firestick 4K Max and let the Firestick format it for internal, but it's showing as External Storage and my Firestick is so full of APK's and App's that I can't download anything else without deleting something. It won't let me move any of my Apk's or Apps to the flash drive so my stick has lots of storage but nothing is going on it. Even tried downloading an Apk the other day hoping it would go to the storage and it didn't, just had a pop up tell me there wasn't enough room on my Firestick. Am I missing something on how to do this properly to make the flash drive Internal storage instead of External? Any help would be appreciated and thanks again for all the great videos.
