At last, the 2 types I've bounced back and forth between for the past 15 years I've consumed enneagram types. I seem more like a 6 in the stressful times, more like a 9 when things are going well. I can look 3ish if threatened enough at work, since a boss could be threatening to fire "the dead weight" and then I could end up unemployed and starving and homeless. Of course, that happened 4 months ago, because my work changed ownership and the new boss thought it would be cute to "shake things up". I'm done working for other people and will be going to grad school on a loan to be an online-based self-employed adult-focused psychotherapist, and I'm looking up ways to get loan forgiveness. There is no security under a boss.

I’m a 6w5 but act like a 1 sometimes, especially when Im stressed. My dad is a 1 and my mom is a 7. Is it possible I just picked up traits from one parent?
