This has seriously got to be one of the best video series on RU-vid. I’m an enneagram 8 so I know there is a ways to go before you get to that video lol but I honestly don’t mind because each and every video is so interesting and incredible. I feel like I can understand those enneagram numbers that you’ve already done on a much deaper level now. I also love how you definitely go into the real sources of the different characteristics of each type instead of focusing on surface characteristics. I can’t even explain how much it makes so much sense 😂

As an unhealthy 3, I can affirm how hard it is to let go of this instinctual feeling of needing to accomplish something to be something. It’s overwhelming and being self-aware of the bad habits this feeling leads to doesn’t really help me getting over them. It can be a never ending fight on some days… Anyways, excellent video, it made me cry at some point. Totally worth it waiting months for its release.

Really like how you talk about the interplay of the types with their other Enneagram neighbors such as with 9 and 6 on this video. It's interesting to see some of this hidden in movies.

Well, I already know I'm a 2 since you spent 18 minutes roasting me 4 months ago but I can't wait for a deeper upstanding of the 9 types. Your videos are an excellent resource.

I love this series so much! I think it’s one of the best sources for learning about the Enneagram. It works especially well for me as a cinephile and typology nerd (the enneagram being my favorite typology system). As a type 4, I can’t wait for the next part! (My type 3 brother really enjoyed this video)

Just a suggestion for future enneagram videos but maybe you can put in examples of how your childhood can affect the way you perceive stress and your way of thinking? I think it’ll be helpful and interesting for your audience and it can help understand the underlying traits of each type. Love the videos btw!

I relate a lot to a 3, more so a social 3. As someone who is an aspiring author, I worry I'll be seen as a bad writer and tend to overthink the writing advice I've learned.

It's great that you touch on the relationships between the arrows of movement. Not only is it helpful and informative but it also keeps us interested with sneak peeks for those of us later down in the series!

I like these personality type videos a lot and I can't wait for the next one. I appreciate what you've been doing. I personally am not sure wether I'm 3wing4 or 4wing3, probably the first since I've leaned more towards 6 and 9 in different periods of my life. I think the key to being a healthy 3 is that your image does not define who you are, but you define what your image is.

I know this is very time consuming for you to make, and I thank you very much for all the previous episodes! They’ve been very helpful to me trying to figure out who I am. Please continue the episodes so I can truly understand who I am and become the healthiest version of myself! Thank you! 😊

This is the first time I've really felt like I actually understand the Enneagram... come back and there's only 3 so far. TT . TT I hope everything's okay with you.

it took me 20 years, the death of my grandfather, and personal coaching to get the shock and despair of questioning myself who I am? No matter how painful and no matter how much I hated it I would never allow myself to quit or fail. I would watch a movie I hated just because I could allow myself to quit anything even a movie I didn't like. people always admired and envied me yet deep down I was so sad and lonely. I always seemed to be emotionless and robotic a man who can always achieve whatever he wants regardless of the situation. thankfully I was very lucky that at such a young age (I'm 26 now) my grandfather died, this man was my source of inspiration and growth even in his death. I was depressed for a year and could not study or do anything meaningful and I just had it I will try and do just about anything new may be I will feel better for once. that when I started on a journey to open a business and learn how to be an entrepreneur. a journey that led to learning business, finance, and marketing, and ended up with what I needed the most personal coaching. It was at this moment that I discovered how detached from my feelings I was. I learned that if I could understand myself and get in touch with my feelings not only could achieve whatever I wanted, but I could also be happy about it. I can take a break and rest for a while without feeling guilty that I'm wasting my time. I'm a very lucky person I'm quite young and I got to learn things that people usually learn at the end of their lives, I have very great people around me, people who loved me and supported me through everything even though I realized it very late, they didn't care and still supported anyway. now I'm very grateful, now I understand how lucky I am, now I can work hard and rest for a while, and I can be really who I am without being afraid of being a loser or a failure.

PLEASE CONTINUE!! THIS SERIES IS SO GREAT, IM DYING TO SEE THE REST~!! I watched the first three abt a year ago and I have been waiting for ages, and it just randomly popped into my mind again :O If you're still working on it, keep at it, it'll be worthit, but if you're in need of some motivation, just remember we all support you, and love what you do. You're good at what you do, and we love it so much

8w9 here and I *love* your videos. It's clear you put a ton of time and thought into them. It's one thing to declare that a character is likely this or that type, but it's another to really justify your thinking with evidence and Enneagram theory, which is what you do so well. I also agree with all of your typings; I love seeing Gaston and Patrick Bateman in here as low health 3 examples. They are ICONIC.

Loving this series so far! I can't wait for your video on type 4s, I feel like it might be very helpful for a lot of 4s as we can struggle a lot and not know how to pull ourselves out of ruts.

The explanation of the dynamics between a 3 and a 9 is interesting! The 3 learning from a 9 even though 3s can disintegrate towards 9. I haven't thought of it much like that (although, I did once mistakenly assume that my 7's growth was directed towards 1 lol). Once again, thank you for creating this series!

I think I’m a type 3 but I also would never move to type 6. I know how to achieve happiness but I don’t want to be happy, I want to be successful. I feel like most type 3s are in the same boat. We know how to be happy we just don’t care.

In a way, type Three to me was always the great mystery in the enneagram. Even though recently I have come to terms that, as a Four, Six is probably the ultimate antithesis to my ego image. Look forward to the type Four video.

It's funny, I started getting into these enneagram types and related movie characters 2 days ago and the first example I thought of for type 3 was American Psycho and the business card scene

Briggs/ meyers is all tapped out now , would you agree.? The enneagram is ,by comparison , novo territory. My protagonist became a deliberate 3 when I brushed up again on enneagram basics. I was using the word ‘ fronting’ rather than ‘ appearances. ‘ He’s unbalanced of course with some nuerotisism thrown in. I’m also using elements from the big five I call it. He scores hi on trait conscientiousness and adding to his conflict , authenticity is important to him. A fun character to write for anyway.😊
