Great views of Mt Fuji from the candle, it's the only time I've ever seen Fuji, can't wait to go back. I'm hoping to see the illuminations this time, will be late November so I hope they are there then. Also want to see the caves, they were closed when I went in 2019.
Ah, one of the silly things I did was visit "Dr Fish"--it's on the way up the mountain. You take off your shoes and tiny fish nibble at your feet, leaving them soft and smooth. It cost 500 yen. I enjoyed it!
You can also take the monorail to Enoshima from Ofuna, which in itself is an interesting experience! And it might be faster than the train trip depending on where you come from.
Pro tip if you are from Narita Airport. Buy the 5000 yen Nex round trip promotion. The journey from Narita to Ofuna only via Nex is 4000+ yen so the ticket in my opinion is very worth it. Then can use the return ticket from anywhere else.
Did you film this recently? I've been to Enoshima three times recently and the sky never looked that clear! Maybe you got there a lot earlier in the day, lol. During Golden Week it was insanely crowded, but I kind of liked that. Last weekend I went to Kamakura, but it was cloudy. We could only see Fuji at sunset, and it was the silhouette of it--still very beautiful.
