This place is still deserted while Igbos are busy watching their properties being demolished in Lagos and are still building more to be further demolished
Great content. Problem is the so-called largest industrial hub in Africa exist on paper only. There appears to be competition among SE governors to create CAD rendering of cities, industrial parks etc tall buildings, tree=lined streets, water fountains etc. None is ever built! Apart from displaying his photo on billboards everywhere along unmarked roads, the previous Enugu governor did nothing for 8 years. Right now Presidential Hotel built on prime land by Michel Okpara is rotting away in Enugu while the one in PH is still the best hotel in Port Harcourt till today. In Abia state, the previous fellow was busy creating a 3D CAD rendering of "Enyimba City" - skyscrapers, wide narked, tree-lined streets. Nothing was built, instead existing roads in Aba were abandoned and even papaw trees were growing and bearing fruits in the middle of them... So the question is: largest industrial hub in Africa or theatre, some kind of high-octane clowning?
Since three years no structure has been built here, even the road leading to this park is narrow and not well constructed. I think government of Enugu State is not serious about this project. They should dualize road leading to this place first. Again, the roads inside the park needs be completed with proper drainage before calling investors. Government need to put things in place that will attract people to invest in the park. You can't just be showing empty land every year
Great Point here👍 We were actually disappointed with the state of the road. You know we also mentioned it isn’t solely government owned tho.. But like you said they have to improve the outlook so more people can be interested
Roads are the least of the problem. I remember one igbo business during the jonathan administration 10 years ago, trying to lure him to come and commission the park. More than 10 years in existence, not a single project.
@longinusukenta if road is not a problem, have you visited Eko Atlanta City in Lagos or Awka millennium City?. These two cities first constructed standard road networks that connected everywhere in the city including roads leading to the cities which made people starting building structures in the two cities. And the two cities interlocked everywhere that made the environment look very beautiful.

South East Government/economic zone should have provisions for containers inland terminal that would links with railway line now the eastern railway network is under construction by the federal government. For me I am coming home right away to have my own slot no place like home..nze na Brazil
Location of this business industrial park is far from town. Every administration comes up with elephant project never takes off before they leave office . Now Peter Mbah has come up with his own elephant project called smart city instead of give massive facelift to the capital to make it attractive to visitors and investors. Please Arine tv, could you update us about the talk about smart city ?
The people handling the project are jokers. The first thing serious people would have done is to develop the road leading to the park to a world-class two lane, with sidewalks and well cut low grass on the sides to wow investors. But as anyone can see, the place looks like an evil forest and a den for robbers and kidnappers. No wonder years after it was conceptualized, the place has remained a sitting duck project. They were able to build road inside but the road outside is very bad and again my problem with it is that the place is very far from the city and no company is even build there yet expecting people to come in when government haven't done anything inside
This people are still talking about shop, shame no dey catch una, this 21st century you guys are still talking about shop that will liter everywhere, instead of talking about how to build standard malls that will have luxury shop inside, no thinking faculty at all
A case of SE governor deceiving their own people. Surely, Igbos are not ready to live the best regions/West, North/ Southsouth, to live in a ravage infested IPOB and unknown soldiers towns where terrorists and kidnappers roam free. You are crying foul and writing propaganda out of frustration. You wish there's no peace in Igboland because Igbos are doing better than you in Lagos. You sold your lands to the Igbos and you want to take it back free. You writing nonsense here but Igbos still have the largest market in West Africa even today. Apart from Lagos, every other state in your region looks like a village even in your capital cities. Even in Lagos, Apart from the business dominated areas which still belongs to the Igbos, your people are still living like animals in the Ghettos and slums.
