not many people like to admit it but Enzo single handedly made the cruiserweight division interesting and gave it some personality and made them fun to watch, people who complained about him not having much of an in ring game completely failed to see that all the cruiserweights had in ring prowess but were as bland as rice cakes.

I never saw Enzo as the heel. He says he wanted to be dastardly, but in reality he just got tossed around, hit the Jurdunzo, and pinned his opponents. Essentially, he was Brock Lesnar lite. Also, the way he won his title was legitimate and he was constantly getting beat up for it by the other guys. I think that 1st year of 205 Live soured me on the show because of that and all the major players who left around that time out of the blue.

I haven’t followed new wrestling since 2006 and I would check in a couple times a year and every time I saw this dude on TV he annoyed me. I can honestly say though he’s not wrong with a lot of the shit he saying. Since the announcement of AEW it seems like WWE has been hitting the panic button and there are so many wrestlers not re-signing there . Got to give this guy credit man he’s a smart dude but today’s fans would never understand him anyway. Today’s fans whether it’s WWE or ROH are just there to chant “This is awesome” or “holy shit” when a high spot goes off. I can promise you for a fact the people that grew up watching wrestling in the 80s and 90s aren’t watching this shit today. He’s right, I think this dude could be the best heel In professional wrestling today but he’ll never get his shot. He’s not a likable person I just look at his face and want to punch him but the dude is smart.

Unpopular opinion. Enzo would have been a draw in WWE if the allegations wouldn't have happened. The guy really knows how to work the crowd. Being a draw isn't necessarily being the World Champion. But he would have been the best Cruiserweight Champion in history by making it the main event title. Similar to what Conor McGregor done in the UFC. There's the Middleweight, Heavyweight Division but the Light Heavyweight Division was the one that was selling like hot cakes.

You can talk the talk all you want but you have to have decent skills in the ring to be/remain at the top. Enzo's in ring skill were not very good. Flair was a heel and was able to wrestle as well as hit a guy in the nuts...that is why he remained at the top.
