he didnt said it in the tone of that translation that Yan is reading it, i know cause Argentina played againts my country last night and i see the interview live, and he didnt say it like sad or angry
Yan isn't stating Enzo is angry. He's questioning whether he is or not. You never know in the end, really. If my employer is paying you millions I probably suppress my feelings too 😅. Also don't think Yan understands Spanish, so how could one assume Yan can interpret the translation of his words AND the tone in which Enzo stated it? 🧐
@@Kenji.95 im from Chile, i speak spanish and i can tell you and any Chelsea fans that he didnt say it like that, here the teams in the olympics is a thing, everyone wants to go and he was just answering that he already say "sorry i cant" to Mascherano, not "im so sorry Mascherano :(" you know? thats the difference, hes not saying in a "damn im so sad i cant go" way. im sure he is sad but thats not the way he was speaking about it. and the "nobody knows" topics is just that nobody knows so is it worth talking?
@@mauromaur0 yuh. Idc if he's angry or not tbh 🤣 it's only a sport. But the title thing is doing exactly what it was intended for, which is people to interact with in the comments about.
what abt the strikers we already have? Broja, Fofana, Washington, Jackson and now Guiu and also sort of nkunku, we shouldn't keep buying until we get rid of the ones we don't want
Even if Guiu is a total flop... 5 mil is basically free nowadays. It also has the added benefit of not putting a massive price tag hanging over his head that he feels like he needs to live up to. There is 0% (additional) pressure on this guy. (Only the standard pressure of a footballer wanting to perform and improve in general.)
I got no beef, he wants to look good for the people of his country. Country is a special thing he has every right to say what he's said IMO no issue here.
There are few proven, certainty ,strikers available , we have been stung many times in the past. Guiu sounds shrewd , looks big, strong , multifaceted , and cheap .
Apart from Osimhens fall off in form, injury record, and very high wages and transfer fee, I think it would be foolish to be in a situation where our #1 and #2 strikers BOTH go swanning off to AFCON at the same time.
It was the right decision to not let Enzo go to the Olympics. If he's overworked like that he could run risk of injury and could even go injured an entire season Reece James style. Plus, we're also gonna need him in PreSeason when Maresca is going to be experimenting with the squad to figure out the best ways to use the players.
Most of the times Club itself allows players to speak as such for PR purposes as to not antagonise his home nation fans and keep player’s fan base happy. I wouldn’t read too much into his comments.
@@nightops9526 Fair enough. I don't know him personally and i can't go that far. He hasn't shown greed to me. My intention is not to make him a target of judgement and criticism. I only wanted to draw his attention to how his title is interpreted by us even if it may not have been his intention. Also "feast on the souls" is not intended to be as brutal as it sounds. Lets go easy on him.
The problem is at 28 if you look at this actual history he hasn't been consistent this was an anomaly season for him and there is no real evidence that he'll be able to replicate his numbers especially in a Harder Faster League that has never played in
One of the reasons i feel clubs aren't going for guirassy is because of his previous seasons. Last season was a huge outlier in his stats. He looks like such a west ham player
I hope all this talk of what fit Enzo works in the new season. For me, I wanna understand last season but don't want excuses here and there going forward for him
I see Guiu as a great value attempt at replacing what Deivid Washington couldn’t do, force his way into the conversation of getting any considerable game time, maybe cups. Deivid will go on loan and ideally flip to a sale next season. I don’t hate it, let’s see what the kids got. In another note, I feel compelled to comment to help the algo bc I love the consistency and that you keep your head on your shoulders amongst the craziness that is our club. Come on you Blues.
Lots of teams aren't letting players go to the Olympics if their important players it's understandable, I thought we could of used Datro Fofana or Washington as backup for Nkunku and Jackson but for £5m we will make a profit if it doesn't work
On the Guirassy point, I'm surprised that Stuttgart didn't push to renew the contract. Dortmund has "no money" apparently, Stuttgart finished 2nd and he was the top scorer after Kane so shouldn't Stuttgart be a more logical choice? Yet Stuttgart, at least it seems, haven't pushed at all to renew his contract, even if it was just to remove such a low release clause from his contract. So that suggests that Stuttgart actually values him quite lowly. Lots of red flags for me, however I would still prefer him over the other available options. *Edit On the Guiu point, I heard a lot of dumb and biased opposition fans were saying that Marc Guiu was valued at 1 mil and us paying 6 mil, six times as much, is overpay on a teenager, again and that we haven't learned from our "apparent" mistakes. It's kinda funny when Marc Guiu is valued at 7.5 mil and for once Barca failed to put a 1 bil release clause on him as well as the fact that we for once got to pay under the value for a player. No idea why this deal gets so much flak.
Chelsea paid a lot of money, so Yan says Enzo should listen to whatever the club has to say. That's the arrogance of Chelsea fans... Enzo, an Argentine, could have chosen another club with better terms. He will still be able to choose. There will be clubs that are willing to pay the transfer fee...
I don't care if Enzo is angry! He should prioritise Chelsea above some Olympic bs! He was brought in for a record breaking fee and his career doesn't look so great if he can only pull up for Argentina. I get he was misused by Poch and i've seen him looking better under Potter so now it's time for him to show up big time and preseason games are crucial.
Osimhen is a great player BUUUUUUUT, I don't think he's worth breaking the bank for. Which is why we didn't sign him in the initial takeover spending spree. I just don't think he'd be worth breaking the brand spanking new wage structure..
I agree with your assessment that there is a perverse nature to a lot of Chelsea fans when it comes to expenditure versus value. I don't know how much of that is thinking we can't have useful players at a reasonable price and how much is the win/win (in some minds), of the club making a big splash and then either enjoying success if it works or slating the decision if it goes poorly.
But i also do not view what Enzo commented as offensive to Chelsea at all. because what he said is true and the way he phrases it is not rude at all or even sounding like he is complaining too much. but he had to come out and say something to his Argentinian public.
I for one am more than happy with Guiu and it looks to me like our sporting directors doing more great work and business ! Terminate Sterlings contract and get his wages of the books along with Lukaku to and Osimen would then seem like a relatively good investment ! KTBFFH !
I dont think Enzo was angry. He was just saying he wanted to play in the Olympics but its basically out of his hands. Obviously he's going to be disappointed but I dont think he's angry. I completely back the decision for him to not go. The club has way too many injuries going on, theres a long season ahead with the Club World Cup next year too. So there's so much football to be played. Those Olympic slots should go to players who aren't in Copa America as the fixture demand has gone through the roof these days.
@@EddisonToussaint the formation the coach used was bent on oshimen been a winger and a striker at the same time If you watched Nigeria against Cameroon and South Africa you will understand more he won 3 penalties in the tournament as well
Why does not believing in one extreme (buying kids aint gonna get us anywhere) automatically make you think we believe in the other extreme (bring in ballers on big fees). None of the fanbase had any issues with Olise coming in, but he rejected us due to wages. Elite players want elite wages, simple as that.
Enzo been playing non stop for a very long time. Now Copa America. Olympics would mean no break in summer . Football at Olympics pretty meaningless He needs to focus on Chelsea who pay his wages
I will say this until the end , I’m not convinced about Osimhen and I do not believe he would be a success in the premier league. It’s time to move on from those players
Enzo should be more concerned about establishing himself as a top player than worrying about a tournament for kids. It doesn’t appear like he has the mentality to ever be world class
Clickbait titles are the price of doing business for content creators - people criticising Yan need to: 1) watch the nice video Yan made for you 2) like 3) subscribe 4) watch the next video, regardless of the title 5) go to bed 6) get out of bed 7) repeat #’s 1-6 Thanks 😊
@@nicolemonkeviciene791 That's his problem. We don't care about him and his next moves. Not interested I don't understand why he keeps on being brought up in conversations.
I would imagine that any decent agent would get any up and coming footballer on their books to pose in a number of different shirts from top clubs that are likely to throw the bag so I wouldn't get to hyped up about it. Plus, he looked shite against prem defences in the CL. Hard pass
Osimhen doesn't fit the Chelsea model. He'd be expensive and he's too old to amortise the cost. And he's not guaranteed to be fit or to succeed in the Prem. Nope.
If Enzo is angry then he should f off from our football club. What happen to the pushing of Mount and saying he is a coward. Is all these just for show.
I think Enzo is completely justified in being angry. The Olympics is the most prestigious sports competition in my opinion and I think it's very mean to stop him from going
I'll do anything for pound notes - Yan2024. Enzo was mid at best last season, just a coincidence we were much better when he didnt play? open your eyes not your tablet lol It's not news it's speculation........coach's decision? he hasnt started work yet ffs.
Maybe just maybe THE ENGLISH NOT taking a mere low quality Olympics seriously is why England will never win it ( World Cup euro ) they don’t have the winning PEDIGREE AS a brasil Argentina even others try hard . Yeah keep giving those young English players that kind state go out there and have fun guys . When they go to the national team they have that in their head embedded
Most of you youtubers just speak like the Olympics has zero pedegree. A quick google search on the history would prove otherwise. I am of the opposite thinking. Every person has a right to do their due diligence for their country and Enzo as one of the top Argentine midfielders has a right to represent his country. Chelsea has a million players. Let national players represent their country in peace. This is utter bullshit. Olympics isn't a friendly, and there are many top players who have never won an Olympic gold. At the end of his playing career, that would be a big deal.
That's a bit of a cop out to Enzo. He gave so much to the club, even playing through injury. He even had the most passion against united. The club possibly taking his last chance at an Olympics away after saying yes. He's understandably jaded and feeling betrayed.
Last chance at the olympics? Bro he's 23 !! LOL. Also Chelsea have invested a shit-ton of money in this guy , he needs to be quiet and get to work cause he's going to be counted on bigtime
@garytibbles9756 he might not as he'll be over age by the next. Assuming he's not good enough to top 3 over age selected players in the next olympics. Of course has to work for his money, but breaking a promise to your players doesn't breed any loyalty. It's a two way street
