1979 Ford F250 Restoration - Steering Column Install, Engine Bay Detail and New Wheels
Engine Bay was driving me crazy with how dirty it was. This is me attacking that problem finally. Also installed the steering column and bought Tavish a graduation present - NEW WHEELS!!!

Windshield washer assembly tank pump hoses switch nossels every thing is available a LMC truck. Also you should cover that breather hole on the valve cover and the end of your brake lines before you do anymore cleaning.

It's coming along nicely! Are you going to replace the intake manifold as well? I'm thinking about replacing mine on my reg cab with an edelbrock intake but have never done it before.

I mentioned that I might but it was just too much money to justify for both when we have so many other things we want to do on the truck. If money were no issue we would for sure swap both!

Thanks man. Keep watching. We do buy from lmc but we also shop around for the best prices. Some parts are cheaper on amazon and some parts are only available from lmc truck. We are on a budget so have to shop around.

Always work on restore jobs in the following order: mechanical (engine, suspension and breaks), interior, then body/paint. I’m trying to stick to that rule myself but it’s hard! You’ll be tempted to make it pretty but then you won’t be able to drive it.

Depends on the part. Most are aftermarket replicas just because original can cost so much more! These trucks are great! You picked well and have good taste! 👍🏼🙌🏼

Everyone has their style for sure. At this point I’ll be happy when we can finally drive it! But we are calling it a “restomod”, because it will not be original and will have some modern conveniences added. We won’t make everyone happy in the process but it’s going to be what we want (within the limits of money of course).
