Distributing instructions in the assault anchorage after the first landings in Normandy (Gazette Date - 19/12/44)
6/3/45 Captured a German Biber Type midget submarine off Breskens in the Scheldt Estuary. Eleven Bibers had sortied that day. Four were found abandoned along the coast at North Beveland, Knocke, Domberg and Zeebrugge.
One was sunk by gunfire off Westkapelle on 8 March and five vanished.

Oh that just cracked me up, you guys are nuts🤣🤣🤣 It was also a sort of "extraction" video...... I was impressed how Simon extracted that copper nail by bending it out as he punched it through. It was almost as good as him extracting Gemma from the mud!! Just when you though things were calming down, along comes Robbo doing a running jump and straight down into that mud😂 Absolutely cracking episode, loved every part of it.

Loved it! Not just total commitment from Simon in the mud, he actually relished it, owned it and enjoyed it as much as any six year old boy. It says a great deal about his soul. Cheers from across the pond!

I think because at the beginning we got bashed every week by trolls, but now they have gone away so we are more confident about our work and what needs to be done

I, as a few others with experience in old neglected wood boats, saw in our minds clearly, what you were “really” getting into, without knowing the tenacity of your ability to overcome. You and Simon have proven yourselves a damn good team with the tools and commitment needed. I never left, I just grew more respect for your abilities and the way you attack a problem to get it done. It’s all way good enough!!!!!!!! If I knew how, I’d change my RU-vid name to who I’ve always been, Ken Page. All I try to do is help, ain’t no troll. ❤️

You's look like a punk rock band on a photo shoot. A yearly mud dive with your subscribers sounds like a brilliant idea. One of those mobile fish n chip vans on the hard standing for bovril, coffee, soup and tea as well as the fish n chips, sausages etc, etc. What a brilliant spectacle that would be. the funny side of that glue 'being strong enough' is in the future, a long time into the future, the wood will rot and only the glue will be left - like painted cars, you don't know its rusting until the paint falls off the open hole - good to see Gem filling her cracks, oh and Robbo i can hear the voice of David Bellamy narrating over the sights of you guys in the mud, 'in their natural habitat, covering themselves in mud like hippos in a dirty mating ritual' hehe

Annual mud bath sounds good but have it in warmer weather. Back in the 70s I used to water ski on the River Severn off the old ferry slipway. The Ferry Boat Inn challenged us to a Boxing Day ski, wet suites donned and doing dry starts off the slip way, we each did a circuit of the suspension bridge. Looked up at the Inn and the lounge window was jammed with onlookers. After changing hot coffee and brandies were server at the bar.

I always have amoment of reflexive terror/horror seeing you cut into the ships timbers! lol Then my logical side reminds me that it's not just for something to do on your weekends, but it needs doing. Oddly I have a bit of a nostalgic warm feeling when I see the calico layer. What are you planning for your 100k celebration? I bought a portable hot water system that hooks up to a battery, gas bottle (same as a bbq uses) and a garden hose/tank. Instant 50c hot water. I'd totally reccomend looking into one for Sarinda. You could then grab a cheap shower tent for about 10 quid and use it on the back deck while still having some privacy. Keep at it kids! You're doing great.

That glue is so strong. If you want to stop it sticking to another piece of wood that might be being used to hold it in place then put some petroleum jelly on the retainer.
