Yes 4K looks great. I'm watching on a 4k screen but You tube only showed this episode in 2160p, so 2K max. The varnished beams look so good!

Yes, the 4k filming. Massive, I knew something was different from the shot of the decks underside, that is an awesome looking shot. Didn't know at the time what was causing it but, at the end of the video when you - Gemma - said 4k it all made sense. Far superior imho. I'm not in a position to support your channel financially but, I always share your videos in the hope of pushing it forwards. This is no exception and I must say - those deck beams look amazing - More wonderful progress for Sarinda and as always, thank you to all your paying supporters for their loyal and generous input. I know that yous appreciate them enormously, but I also like to express my own appreciation as a regular viewer. What a truly incredible family of followers you are. Thank you all.

The 4K does make it better in my opinion but, if it entails more work for you then I'll happily watch with reduced resolution. It's amazing how every now and then in a project like this, that major progress becomes evident. Hope the weather holds out for you.

Simon - regarding your water pump hassle. I have a 7hp diesel in my boat - a Volvo MD5. I have just done a refurbishment on its water pump and was interested to note something that Volvo had done with it. There are two seals along the drive shaft. One on the engine side tofor the oil, and one on the pump side for the water. There is a gap between them inside the housing. This is much like yours. However, I was interested to see that Volvo had drilled small drain holes in this section of the casting. In the event of any leak then a dribble out these holes would warn you of the leak before it got through to the other section. Thus, in the event of the oil seal breaking down the oil seepage would become apparent while the water seal still held. And vice-versa. By seeing whether it was water or oil the seepage would also tell you which seal had gone. Thus you knew exactly what was happening and could make the repair before any fluids got into unwanted sections of the engine. I thought this was a very good idea and thought, in light of your problems, you might like to know. Looking at the setup on Surindas engines, perhaps you could implement this idea there to save the messed up oil situation happening again?
