You got the Scorched RC parts! Excellent! They actually have been working out much better than I initially thought they would and make this so much of a better vechile. Plus, no overheating which I was initially worried about. The only part that was a bit difficult was getting the clip holes big enough to clip on the body over the fenders. Everything eventually breaks it but I did have to switch to the clips that come slightly bent in the rear to get them in back there. Now the body clips on as easy as it did prior to the fenders being installed though. Really innovative invention. The manufacturer actually has a video on how to do everything. Also awesome he includes the Lexan scissors as well. He will definitely get my business again!
I have it on now I did have to open the holes up a bit he does explain that as well I will have a video out shortly of the install and forst drive with it but so far I am liking it
It's interesting that i came across this video today talking about 3d printed parts cause the wife and i just ordered a 3d printer a couple of days ago and will be here by the 28th. We know absolutely nothing about 3d printing but are super excited to learn, and maybe i can start printing some of my own parts if need be 🤷♂️ definitely gonna be a learning curve for both of us, but definitely excited about it 👍🤙 We bought the Flashforge Adventurer 5m pro. Keep up the awesome videos 👍 Oh...and i got my Arrma Felony today! What an absolute beast 💪😎 I'm gonna need to stock up on lots of tires. It's 😂 definitely a different driving experience from all my off-road bashers for sure. Absolute blast to drive, though...love it! 👍🤙
I dont know much about printing I know I have had some bad parts but the stuff Garage Life RC makes is top notch I know there are different filaments to make stuff flexible but thats it lol I like learning but I dont know about a 3d printer maybe one day it would be cool to make stuff
Very nice well thought out upgrades too bad the screws where missing. I like the flex in the wings. Enjoyed watching this video. LoL about the air compressor, That's what I use 110PSI takes most everything off. Ass far as RC prices well I agree there way too high for what you get. $700+ for any RC Car is too much.
@tughillrc6327 normally everything is put together a bit better he threw a bunch of stuff in there for me I have it mounted now it looks amazing. The big air compressor sure comes in handy it will get dirt out of the toughest places. Yeah prices are crazy on these cars hopefully competition from Rlaarlo and Team Corally will shake things up. One thing that I ordered that I am not happy with is a new Spektrum Dx5c Pro. $450 spent on the radio, receiver and 7.4v battery, all arrived in an oversized beatup box, not packed well at all with parts haphazardly placed in there. The box for the Remote was not factory sealed and was half opened. I get the Remote out of the box and there are a bunch of scratches on the screen. Annoys the hell out of me. If I am spending $50, then maybe I don't complain but $400+? Absolutley not. This will be returned, not to mention the Remote looks no different than the regular Dx5c with not much additional functionality . Waste of god damn money.
Are you sure you got the right remote? The pro looks a bit different than dx5c the whole steering part is way different. Its 320 without a receiver but that sucks if its used. Where did you get it from? I wonder if someone didnt put a pro sticker on a dx5 to return it because it does look different and the screen is much nicer, I like the screen not the drop down wheel until my dx5c dies or has no more model memory thats what I am keeping.
@L2theWcarscoffeelife Its definitely the pro version. I ordered it directly from Horizon in fact. It came with several steering wheels and the reason I paid so much is because I also bought the receiver without the antenna. I also bought the lipo battery that you use instead of the triple a batteries which these things eat. I am going to call Horizon on Monday about this. While the scratch is minor, it should not be there. This thing should come flawless for that price. They have a new $600 one coming out next month that has access to the internet and quite a few additional features. The conclusion I am coming to thus far is the regular Dx5c is the way to go. I am not seeing that this offers much more than that one which has thus far made this a waste of money that would have been better served going possibly to the new release they have coming out.
I have always had good luck with thier customer service so I hope it works out for you. The DX5C is Gone now they have the DX6 which is basically the same thing but has a backlight screen which is nice that is my complaint with my dx5 I cant see it in the sun. That new iXSR6 is sweet that really looks like a nice remote maybe they will let you return that one and swap for the new one,
