This was a monster episode Mike is someone we could never get enough info out of He reminds me of the guy who showed you all the tricks when you first get into playing, using effects, dialing in amps If we could get mike back on the fans would truly appreciate it Analogman effects are our favorites , all of the players who are really into this stuf
I'm 2 years late viewing this, but just wanted to say I placed an order for a double Bad Bob while Mike was touting them in the video. Thank you for doing this interview Mike, Dave and Marc!
Just found this channel recently. Great content, and have to say that I wouldn't give up my KoT for three times the cost. Just the best sounding drive produced.
Great show as usual. Love Analog Mike and his products. Have quite a few and they are some of the best out there, IMO. Keep up the great work Marc and Dave!
I have the paia quadrafuzz rack that was one of the most killer fuzzs I've ever heard. It split the original frequency into 4 parts and then fuzzed them out individually, as well as each of them having their own output. I need this thing in a pedal!
I bought an East River Drive and I like it. Now I just need a Friedman Fuzz Fiend. I like the sounds of the demos. And I don't care about pedal size. It's very cool. I also own a King of Tone. Beautiful. When my name came up on the waiting list I was shocked. It took so long I forgot about it lol
Hey Dave I checked out that tube fuzz pedal and its SICK, only problem is its a tube fuzz pedal if there's a way to get that sound without the tube it'd be 1000% better. I LOVE the oscillation effect, great thinking there. I was looking at the Kingsly Harlott for a while, great pedal, but also a tube pedal. The issue with that is touring, I don't wanna be on the road in BFE and worry about replacing a tube on my pedal. Finding tubes is an issue too with the shortages now. More things to go wrong, also with tube pedals as you mentioned the power is an issue. I hope you sell some of these great sound for the bedroom or just for fun player.
If you subscribe to the channel and hit that little bell 🛎 it will notify you when we go live. That way you don’t ever have to miss a live show. Also, please go to our Facebook page or Instagram page or Twitter and you can see our announcements. I’ll post each below for you. Thank you for your feedback
I subscribe here and was online, but youtube never notified me. I do not do other social media or ever check a gmail account, so if it is not a certain day at a certain time, or youtube does not light up with the little red 'live' indicator, I guess I'll just have to get lucky to catch it. Always a great show...really waiting for a Dylana show...and hope I see it live! Maybe you can post a teaser vid the day before a show here, like some do, so we can plan to be here? Keep up the great shows! Thanks!
Great Panel. Next time maybe push the mute button when making all the candy & drink noises. That was extremely hard to deal with but I liked the guys so much I did everything that I could to suffer through it, if only to soak up some knowledge from some of the best. Thanks guys.
FYI I love Mike and this is not a snubb at all.. I have had probably more money than one should ever spend on TS and variants. I just want to say as sad as it is to say. That damn Bad Money is magic. There is something there that always interacted with my amp, maybe because I was a JMP into a 4x12, but man that pedal is still magic. I think I have a few of them in my studio still.
Placed my order for the Anal Log Man KOT pedal like 4 years ago and never got an email. Be nice to get that notification email that it's time to pay up. (pun intended)
go to their website and look up where they are for current builds. Look up when you sent the email to them and it will let you know how much longer you have
Sooooo Mike doesn’t build or even play all the KoT’s himself but he looks at them and signs them? Great pedals and great company but I’m shocked he doesn’t build all the KoT’s himself. I hope it’s in the fine print of the website for those who are waiting two years for a supposedly “built by Mike” pedal.
Matthew Spicka did you listen to the show or you just want to make stupid comments? We talk about candy for about 2 minutes out of 3 hours. We discussed every pedal the guy makes and tons of topics. You couldn’t have watched the show if that’s what you took away from it.
not to be a dick, but it seems a little distasteful for those wealthy musicians to buy up all the lower priced used stuff, "vans full" of awesome, cheap instruments that otherwise could have gone to local players who dont have much $. why do you think kids today dont appreciate tube amps, vintage fx, teles? there arent many left available, + theyre thousands $. Yes its a free country, + im sure those guys legit needed like 30 guitars. But this sounds like way more, plus most of the echoplexes, vintage fuzz, etc. Now we've got a few people with hundreds of classic guitars + amps, they cant possibly put them all to use... its like 1% of people having 99% of the wealth. thats life i guess but its not beneficial to anyone really.
Daniel Simon thanks for watching and your comment. Back then these guys knew what to look for and took advantage of knowing what to find. I don’t think they were rich but maybe I’m wrong. They just knew what was good to get and hold on to. That’s my theory. Anyway thanks!
Hey it’s cool...sorry if we came across that way. I can assure you it’s not intentional and Mike certainly seems to be humble. Anyway thanks for watching! We appreciate it. Check us out this Friday!
