That's an awesome comment, I do use that sometimes as well, mostly when I do wooden fences; however, it's not something I typically talk about on this channel. You must have quite a few years out in the field to know that.

If you live in the Atlanta, GA area it is going to be tough. There are a million pressure washing companies and everybody is playing the pricing game. It's a race to the bottom because the barrier to entry is so low. The competition is so heavy that people charge ridiculously low prices just to get the job. It's the same thing with marketing, the company with the biggest pockets wins. It's always the same companies at the top of Google Sponsored ads. I don't mean to discourage anyone, I'm just being honest about the pressure washing landscape in the Atlanta area. I really believe your success in the pressure washing business will depend on the area you are in. I have quoted people the lowest possible price and they are able to find 10 companies to do the job cheaper. It's a race to the bottom. Success is possible, but it will take a VERY long time to build. If you are in a city with less competition, your chances are better. Do your market research BEFORE you start a pressure washing business. Believe 5% of what you see and hear on RU-vid!

Yes, pre-treat is an absolute must! I hit it with a 3.5% solution, let that sit for 20 minutes and then cracked that whip!

Thank you for the comment and the great question; I am actually using both systems in this video, I did my pre-treatment with my blue softwash gun (using a 3.5% solution on this deck) this I rinsed the dead debris with my pressure washer using a 40 degreee (white) tip.

So according to other research I’ve done online you shouldn’t use psi over 1500 on wood and or not use bleach? I understand you want results as a pro but what’s the real deal with it?

Doesn’t bleach ruin the unpainted wood? I’ve heard a ton of people in the industry say that. I’ve also had first hand experience of wood getting turned blueish from the bleach

There are many ways to clean wood, as long as you wash it off and apply a neutralizer you will be fine

What PSI are you using for decks? I've been testing on my own and I get a lot of dead fuzz after it dries, feel like I'm not using enough pressure to get them off but I always read to use ~700 and stay 6-8" off the board.
