He has never left his very privileged upbringing and when he tries to tell stories about how he grew up without money is kinda hilarious. "My parents would eat dinner at the club a lot". Never heard him say anything about paying school loans but who paid for this idiot to go to school for 7 years? This is probably a way too serious comment for youtube.... but it seems to me like Bert's intense anxiety triggers a lot of the reckless and uncontrollable binging behavior that ends up really hurting him physically and emotionally. I'm in no way qualified to diagnose him, but he's definitely in a vicious cycle that constantly puts him into extreme mental and emotional states, and it seems like literally everyone around him has told him this multiple times and wants him to get help. His body image and his weight and how he feels about food constantly comes up. From his Dad telling him to lose weight that caused him to scream at his family and have a meltdown ("I need my Dad to see me skinny so I can have a good weekend!"), to this episode where he talks about doing 100 kettlebell squats and shoulder presses after his daughter roasted him over how he treated his body during a food binge, to drinking wine on the treadmill so he can offset the calories. And all of this is done with the backdrop of extreme overeating and drinking because all the stress makes him go "Fuck it!" (as he said also no this episode) My favorite episode of Bertcast was the one where he had on a therapist who really started digging into how he feels about himself (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8PkO2YNQ98Y.html). He spends a lot of these podcasts justifying his behavior and talking about how he doesn't want to change or seek help, but I really hope Bert goes to therapy at some point because he is clearly hurting a lot inside.
I cannot put into words how surprised I am that Bert has self-control when it comes to giving his daughter a Xanax when she's having a panic attack, but he has no self-control when he sees a cute dog in front of him.

Gundam117 thats hilarious to think you sit watching this when you don’t think Bert is funny, and this is mostly about Bert’s energy. Tom just sits back and watches the spectacle laughing his ass off.
The thing is, TOM is a good storyteller. He knows what's funny, and when to finish the story. He would STILL give Bert plenty of time to talk (most of the show). I would like to hear a good story/ anecdote / completed thought (TOM), and then let Bert do him manic rambling until Tom has another complete thought he wants to add (finish).
Tom's kid probably has perfect tone, and when he hears Tom singing Sponge-bob he knows in his heart Tom is a very bad person, and possibly also psychotic

I feel that. I’m sure there is pressure with this job but damn it seems like he is messing up a lot here recently. Part of me thinks that it’s fake drama for the main fans (when Nadav had a fake black eye) but that seems like a lot to orchestrate and keep up. Idk
